  Wonderful experience with a kind and skilled officiant!

  We are so grateful to have had Mary Anne officiate both our legal wedding, as well as our celebration of love ceremony.
  
  Mary Anne was very kind, thoughtful, and responsive throughout the process, sharing her expertise, guidance and suggestions when we needed it, while also holding space for us to personalize and craft our ceremony. She is extremely organized, and helped make the entire process feel really easy.
  
  Many of our guests came up to us during our reception and also messaged us afterwards saying "We loved your officiant!" "Your officiant was amazing!" "I don't usually care much for what's said at weddings, but what she shared felt really practical and meaningful" and different variations on that note - so she definitely made a lasting impression on a lot of people! Even when we ran into some technical glitches with the mic, as a skilled facilitator she smoothly switched gears to keep the ceremony moving.
  
  If you're looking for a humanist / non-religious officiant, we would definitely recommend working with Mary Anne!

  A Wonderful Officiant

  Mary Anne from Humanist Ceremonies was a wonderful officiant. She met with us and sent us away with some forms to fill out which really helped us discover what we wanted in a ceremony. Her first draft of the ceremony was a bit clunky, especially the parts personalized to our relationship. However, I was able to smooth it out and she was very open to changes to ensure we had the ceremony we want. She also has a lot of templates which was really useful to be able to pick and choose and mix and match the text. On the wedding day, she was a warm and wonderful presence and I’m so happy she married us. I had not heard of humanism before looking at wedding officiants, but I think it is a wonderful philosophy and I would recommend a humanist officiant for anyone who does not want a religious ceremony and believes in having a wedding as an equal union.

  Amazing wedding officiant!

  Our photographer (Katarina/Boakview) referred us to Mary Anne as they've worked together before and said she's the best officiant. Mary Anne is friendly, personable, professional and extremely helpful when it comes to helping you personalize your wedding ceremony. She provided resources and samples and helped us edit multiple drafts. Meeting her in person was delightful as she did a ceremony run through with us. Thank you so much for being part of our wedding and making our ceremony quite spectacular. No doubt that we would highly recommend her as a wedding officiant!

  Excellent Officiant

  We had an excellent experience working with Mary Anne from start to finish. Mary Anne provided us with an informative information package during our initial meeting, was always quick to respond to any questions we had, provided us with many example ceremonies, and was very helpful in guiding us through crafting our ceremony.
  
  On the day of our wedding, Mary Anne was on time, professional, and made a special effort to be friendly with our guests. She was also flexible and was amenable to any of our requests (such as speaking slowly and using a microphone to ensure all of our guests could hear and understand the ceremony).
  
  Thank you Mary Anne for helping to make our wedding so wonderful and for making our ceremony stress free!

  We couldn't imagine having anyone other than Mary as our wedding officiant! When looking at different officiants we had a hard time finding someone that we could picture being such a big part of our day, but Mary came highly recommended from family and we couldn't be happier! She really made us feel a part of the planning process and was so friendly and accommodating throughout it all. My husband was very nervous leading up to the wedding because he is not great in front of an audience, but Mary walked us through everything and put him at ease. I would recommend Mary to anyone - she really made our ceremony so special and memorable! Many of our guests came up throughout the rest of the night and commented about how perfect Mary was and everything she had to say about marriage and us in the ceremony. We loved it! Thanks so much Mary!

  From the first meeting, Mary Anne was chiefly concerned with building a personalized ceremony that reflected us as a couple. She created a fantastic draft of the ceremony and together we turned it into the perfect script. She had great input and listened to our every concern and was both very professional and very reassuring. She went above and beyond the call of duty and we cannot recommend her enough!

  From the first meeting, Mary Anne was chiefly concerned with building a personalized ceremony that reflected us as a couple. She created a fantastic draft of the ceremony and together we turned it into the perfect script. She had great input and listened to our every concern and was both very professional and very reassuring. She went above and beyond the call of duty and we cannot recommend her enough!
