About Holy Angels Weddings with Rev Deb Vaughan
Deborah Vaughan, from Holy Angels Weddings, loves doing weddings. It is such an honour to share in your very important day and ensure that everything runs smoothly and happily. Her motto is your wedding, your way! She is really grateful to be on the officiant lists of the finest inns and hotels in Niagara and the GTA. She gets called by wineries and chapels and other venues looking for an officiant to help their couples. She's been told that she is fun, approachable and lighthearted.
People call her "Rev Deb." That is a title she has carried since her early days as an Anglican Priest. These days, she is the presiding bishop of the Community Catholic Church of Canada, and is a published author, educator, facilitator and speaker. She is also one of The Angel Ladies and a therapeutic touch practitioner. Her speciality is creating ceremonies that reflect the wishes and feelings of each couple.
She offers weddings of all kinds at various venues and also little ones at her home chapel. She can also make arrangements for groups of up to 20 to enjoy a chapel wedding on Lundy's Lane in Niagara Falls. She caters to small weddings and elopements, civil ceremonies, non-denominational weddings, traditional ceremonies, same-sex weddings and renewal of vows. She has married 20-somethings all the way up to 90-somethings. Love is to be celebrated. She has participated in interfaith weddings as well.
While Rev Deb travels all around Niagara and the GTA, she also offers a cozy chapel space for elopements and weddings of up to 8 people in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake. Here you can exchange your vows in a lovely garden setting or in the intimate space of Holy Angels' Chapel.
How she works
She has done a lot of different kinds of weddings - from big blow out pull-out-the-stops celebrations at churches or lavish halls, to backyard weddings with just a few folks. She has officiated at pirate weddings, Medieval weddings, folkie weddings, Halloween weddings and had a blast! She has also been at hospital bedsides, witnessing vows of those whose lives are growing short. To her, this is more than just getting a pay cheque. It is about making something beautiful, celebrating love in all of its fullness.
She is not part of a wedding company -- although she does train wedding officiants for her little church. She works with each and every couple - including same-gender and even transgender- to ensure that the wedding is as unique and special as the love you share.

Rev. Deb Rocks
From the very first contact with Rev. Deb I knew she was the one that I wanted to perform our services. Our wedding was unconventional in so many ways. I am wiccan and wanted to include a handfasting ceremony, we are also a blended family so we also included a unity ceremony with our 3 boys. Originally we were having a double wedding but my mom who was I'll had to be hospitalized could not be there. When I asked Rev. Deb about performing her ceremony at the hospital there was no hesitation, she suggested the following day at 6pm. She made both our ceremonies fun and stress free. Rev. Deb goes with the flow when unexpected things come up as they do at weddings. There were no awkward pauses and plenty of laughter. I would recommend Rev. Deb to anyone planning to get married.Sent on 06/11/2018
Holy Angels Weddings with Rev Deb Vaughan's reply:It was so nice to be a part of your special day -even though it turned into a two-parter! So glad your mom is on the mend and I am so happy we could do the ceremony right there in the hospital with the guests and nurses present! All the best to your families.

Rev Deb was great, very friendly, professional and made us feel very comfortable. It was a very short & sweet ceremony, just what we were looking for. She was also very funny...we noticed one of our pictures, and she is actually doing bunny ears with her fingers behind my husbands head, lol!!! We had a great experience and would definitely recommend her to others that are looking for a smaller ceremony / elopement. Thank you Rev Deb xoxoSent on 16/02/2017
