Great experience and nice lady!
Everlyn was very kind and we are very satisfied with the whole experience. She did a video call with us for the first meeting and we liked right away for her profession. She provided a booklet as examples, explained to us how it works and what we should expect, and always asked for our preferences.Sent on 17/02/2021
Great Occasions's reply:Thank you for your kind words. Yours was my last wedding before the Christmas holidays and being in your home with your two friends made it very special.

Evelyn was great to work with! She was very concise with explaining how the process would go, what we needed to do, and what to expect on the wedding day. She provided us with a number of examples for the ceremony and vows to get us going and was very flexible. She is experienced, professional, well spoken, and has a lovely personality.Sent on 07/11/2019

Most amazing and accommodating wedding officiant
Rev. Ev was the perfect choice for our wedding. She wanted to know about us, about our beliefs, and about our vision for our wedding. She then came up with a beautiful spiritual yet non religious ceremony that matched our personalities and fulfilled our vision. She was caring, compassionate and a great deal of fun. Her attention to detail combined with a wicked sense of humour helped make out special day less stressful and a lot of fun. Five stars from this happy couple!Sent on 22/01/2020
Great Occasions's reply:Thank you! You two made it a joy to be part of your wedding. All the details: the setting, the ceremony, the reception all woven together perfectly.

So happy we found you!
We interviewed 3 different officiants and they were all really good... but when we met Evelyn we just knew we wanted her on the call... she is amazing and we can’t wait to have her marry us! I would highly recommend her!Sent on 02/12/2020

We Highly Recommend Evelyn
Organizing a wedding is difficult. But the experience was made easier by our officiant, Evelyn. She was responsive to and understanding of our needs. She accommodated minor last-minute changes, and did a great job during the ceremony. I really can't imagine a better choice.Sent on 02/11/2020
Great Occasions's reply:Thank you Avery! The setting was perfect and the gift masks were a thoughtful addition in light of the times. We were so lucky with the weather as well!

Marriage service should reflect couple’s personal feelings, traditions.
Every couple that I marry writes their own wedding ceremony. This is not the easiest way to do weddings; certainly it would be far simpler just to use the same service for everyone.
A standard ceremony, however, strikes me as cold and unyielding to individual sentiments, religious beliefs, sexual orientation and life circumstances. If the couple chooses the words and helps develop the rituals, the celebration of the marriage will be more special and meaningful to them.
I invite every couple to put together their own service so we might approach a service expressive of their feelings and traditions. This is in keeping with the spirit of Spirituality, which is beyond a denominational label and which is based in the religious concept of individual freedom of belief within the bounds of respect and dignity for all.
