Kristin J. Sent on 02/11/2017Evan played for our wedding ceremony on Oct 14/2017 and he was incredible; I would recommend him to anyone looking a vocalist/guitarist play their wedding. I'd heard Evan play at a lounge in the past, and knew I wanted him to play our wedding. He was a pleasure to work with and we knew we were in good hands when he sent us a list of his regularly played songs!
Our guests continue to ask us about the music at our wedding and have all given glowing reviews; keep in mind these positive reviews were coming from a family of professional and serious hobbyist musicians so the bar is high!
Thanks Evan for a helping make our wedding such a beautiful day! -

Meredith P. Sent on 02/10/2017We got married in Ucluelet, on Vancouver Island, and had a tough time finding a musician that was not only good, but fit our style as well. When we came across Evan, we knew we had to bring him down for our big day. Evan was beyond our expectations. He learned several songs that we requested for our ceremony and first dance, and even had a few surprise songs that he must have learned for us, too! Pearl Jam/Eddie Vedder can be tricky, but Evan did the songs perfectly. Literally everyone was raving about how good he was. My only regret from the wedding is that we didn't get to hear enough of his songs, since we were doing photos during cocktail hour. We couldn't have hoped for a better musician to make our day that much more special! It is also worth mentioning that we were planning our wedding from Ontario, and Evan was very communicative with us, and made us confident that he would do an amazing job before we even got there. -

Lisa T. Sent on 21/10/2016Hiring Evan was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding. The atmosphere that he created was relaxed, fun, and extremely memorable. Evan played while the guests were arriving and mingling, and then played a special song while I walked down the aisle (which he learned for the day, this was amazing and definitely brought a lot of tears). He also played during the cocktail hour and we made a fairly last minute decision to have him play through dinner (such a good call). Our guests were raving about Evan non-stop and are still talking about him to this day. He was very easy-going during all the planning stages, which takes a lot of stress out of the whole process. He is also a genuine and kind person (and obviously extremely talented) and we loved having him involved in our special day. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. -

Sent on 13/07/2016We saw Evan Kennedy play at a pre-Christmas function, and when we started planning our impromptu wedding for June, I knew Evan was the music vibe I wanted at our wedding, and he did not disappoint. From learning a new Johnny Reid song, as our request for our dance and playing it beautifully, to always being prompt to answer any questions, to being such a warm person, and then delivering his awesome talent to us, and our guests, I could not have asked for a better artist to perform at this special and emotional event for us. -

He was so kind and flexible to our needs - even learned new songs for us, so we could have our ideal processional music. His voice is UNBELIEVABLE - and his repertoire of songs perfect for our occasion. Loved every minute of it. THANK YOU Evan for making our day so perfect!
