Jacklyn Van Bourgondien was born and raised in Central Washington, She then moved to Whistler where she met her husband and started her career as a freelance makeup artist. In 2007, Jacklyn opened Lily Cosmetic Boutique. Her boutique featured a staff of skilled makeup artists, a large cosmetic line and soon she delved into the world of hair. Jacklyn enjoy working in every area of the beauty spectrum, including teaching basic application or in-depth techniques. While commercial and editorial looks are always fun, she loves connecting with brides on their wedding day and has yet to lose the thrill of creating romantic looks. Anuschka was born and raised on beautiful Cortes Island, one of the smaller islands located on the wild west coast of British Columbia, Anuschka currently resides and works out of the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, BC. She moved to the Valley in 2014 where she continues to strive for excellence, crafting her hair artistry for an ever-growing clientele. Before moving to the Comox Valley, Anuschka completed an advanced program at the acclaimed Aveda Institute, engaging in elevated studies in cutting, colouring and styling techniques. She now travels the world, attending classes by the top educators in the hair industry. Anuschka is an eco-adventurist; the outdoors is her playground! The winter season finds her snowboarding steep mountain faces; during the summer, she’s twisting, turning, and navigating through the forest trails, whether on a mountain bike or on foot. With Cortes Island only a short distance away, Anuschka also finds the time to enjoy her family and the surrounding seas, sailing and paddleboarding every chance she gets! Her love for life and adventure motivates and inspires all those who are around her. By way of example, Anuschka encourages those around her to live a full and happy life!
