Highly recommend!
My husband and I eloped in Ottawa and I contacted Tenny after seeing her work here on WeddingWire. She was very responsive to my initial email and we chatted on the phone shortly after. I'm laid back, but I had high expectations. I was right to put my trust in her; I looked awesome. It was a very special day for me, and she and her work were a big part of that. Tenny was recommended to me by a trusted makeup artist who was not available for my wedding date and I was very pleased with the recommendation. Tenny was amazing to work with on my wedding day. She understood my vision clearly and I loved that her excitement matched mine.
My bridal party and I have all had our makeup professionally done in the past and have often left those experiences unhappy but that was not the case with Tenny. We were blown away by her ability to work with all our features and skin tones and make each of us look flawless. I even had some of the girls who had opted out of using the makeup artist express their regret after seeing Tenny's work.
She was responsive to all communication prior to the wedding day and punctual and professional on the day of. A great balance of creativity and professionalism. I would definitely book her again for another event.

She never disappoints
I can’t even begin to explain how much I love it when the very talented Maureen does my make up! I’ve tried so many different makeup artists over the years, but she has impressed me the most.
I’ve had to attend some last minute events and she was still able to accommodate me at the last minute.

Fantastic artist and great atmosphere !
I adored having Maureen do my makeup. Not only is she a fantastic artist but she really listens to your needs and has incredible insight when it comes to what colours will suit your complexion. I don’t have perfect skin by any means, there are definitely imperfections and she helped mask them perfectly without having me look too cakey. I will also attest to the fact that this woman is an absolute brow wiz! She shaped them to help suit my face and as funny as it sounds showed me the true potential of my brows. The experience overall was so much fun, she has a great personality, is incredibly sweet and very precise. She really went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable the whole time and still having fun. Even though my wedding is over, I’ll definitely be coming back to her to do my makeup for various events I have year round! 10/10 Tenny Michaels Beauty Artistry's reply:
