If you’re looking for a trial, I would not bother with this service. You have to wait a month for one available date, and apparently can get booked over 2 days before your trial if someone decides to do an immediate booking without a trial.

I waited for a month, had sent a deposit for a trial and communicated effectively about my needs for the wedding and the date/time I need available. I was never offered immediate booking when inquiring about the services and timeline as I knew 2 months before the wedding was already a challenging time to book. I was not informed that my request would not be kept in mind while others inquired about the same day. I wasted a month waiting for the trial- of course would book after waiting this long, and with my wedding only a month out, as long as the vendor is confident in their work and professional enough to work out any touch-ups the bride may request. Clearly this service is not capable of accommodating a schedule for brides that does not risk you getting left hanging unless you book a trial (which by my experience took a month, while I’m the one traveling to the vendor location-and having flexibility in my schedule working from home; she only offered one date at the end of the month after inquiry that I could get a trial).

I had Shenelle do my makeup for my wedding and she is seriously so talented!!! I’ve had so many people ask me who did my makeup and my bridesmaids, and my moms! My bridesmaids, my mom, and I absolutely loved our makeup looks!! My mom loved it so much she actually started crying (LOL) and she doesn’t wear makeup.

She knew my perfect shade of foundation immediately (kind of freaky since it took me years to find the perfect one) and even got rid of my gigantic pores that are always a problem with makeup! I had a photo shoot in a rainstorm and the makeup held for hours and hours afterwards! Would highly recommend and can’t wait to work with her again.

Shenelle did my bridal makeup, as well as that of my mother and sister (maid of honour) for my August 2020 wedding.

Shenelle took the time to consult over the phone about our makeup routines and how we wanted our look for the wedding. She also made us feel more than comfortable asking for any changes i.e. lip colour, and was so accommodating.

Shenelle also took every health and safety precaution when it came to home visits for the makeup trial and actual wedding during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The makeup itself was gorgeous and showed up so well in both our professional and home photos. Shenelle asked about my wedding colours and then chose colours for my makeup that complemented them. She is super knowledgeable about and experienced with all types of products, taking into account our skin tones and types, and using difference products that worked best for each of us ex. more moisturizing products for my mom, pore concealer for me.

I have nothing but the highest praise for Shenelle and highly recommend her for anyone looking for either some glam or a fresh look.
