  Would recommend

  The people over at Honest helped out quite a bit in the beginning stages of my order. They were very attentive and helped me pick the right ring for my fiancé. My only complaint is that once the ring was purchased, they did not update me on the status of the ring. I was constantly having to reach out to inquire about it and sometimes wouldn’t get a response for a few days. This all could be due to the pandemic, but when it showed up it was everything I wanted and more. I would highly recommend to someone that is looking to get their dream ring, not at the dream ring price.

  Ordered something in stock. Got in 8 days

  Not sure about their past issues, I was sure to order something in stock, not custom designed. I got the Ami ring in oval, yellow metal and I got it in 8 days (I live in Ontario, they shipped from Calgary it looks like).
  
  Ring is beautiful, well made, stone is clear, local store checked it out and said everything is up to par. Would recommend on my personal experience.

  Gorgeous ring!

  My fiancée told me that he was looking to support a local company but he read some of the reviews from Honest Solitaire and was leery about some of the negative comments. Mind you there were plenty of positive comments too. He took a look at their Instagram photos and they had some great photos. Their website was so easy to use and ordering a custom ring for me was so easy and my fiancée got such an amazing deal too. I LOVE LOVE my simple gold band with a gorgeous brilliant cut. It shines so "Bright like a diamond". Overall we are so happy with the end result and highly recommend this company. Hey, things happen and sometimes things fall through the cracks, we can only try to make everyone happy, ALL THE TIME! We had an amazing experience with Honest Solitaire, highly recommend!

  Dont buy from here

  
  If you’re looking to buy your partner a ring from here DONT!!. They are more than happy to take your money and ghost you.
  
  I placed an order in November for the Ashli ring, hoping It would arrive before Christmas as that’s when I was wanting to propose….I was told it would take 6-12 weeks to arrive, we are now on week 18 (5 months), and still no ring, I have called numerous times, no answer. Texted, no response. Emailed, little to no response (99.99%) of the time.
  
  You would think that buying an engagement ring would be an exciting experience… well it hasn’t, both me and my fiancé have questioned whether or not we may have been scammed due to the lack of communication.
  
  I understand that there’s supply chain issues and it’s hard for you as a company to track and update every one of your customers orders, but the least you can do is pick up the phone, respond to a text or email, even if it’s the same answer. It’s called customer service and unfortunately your customer service is non-existent.
  
  Overall this experience has been the farthest thing from exciting. I definitely will not be recommending this business to my friends and family. It’s a shame because our next purchase is going to be wedding bands… you lost a loyal and repeat customer.

  Absolutely amazing experience

  Thank you so much Honest Solitaire!!! I had a vision in my mind of what I wanted my ring to look like but I couldn’t find anything that was right. My friend referred me to the Honest Solitaire and I am forever grateful. They were patient and super friendly and help me create exactly what I wanted. Now I get to show off my one of a kind forever and I couldn’t be happier.

  Did not recieve ring ordered 9 months before wedding

  NEVER GOT MY RING!
  if wedding planning isn't stressful enough but ordering my wedding band from here made my stress and anxiety 100 times worse. I ordered my custom ring back in December and had to buy a wedding band from elsewhere as I did not get it in August! There was minimal communication and I had to reach out about 10 times through phone, email and messaging to get any answers, I was always told a "couple of weeks" every time and once that passed I was told another timeline if I could even get a hold of them. I found them very defensive and always blaming something (ie was on vacation, production delays, low staffing etc..), it was suppose to be done within 5 weeks but 9 months later and nothing... My fiancé ordered my engagement ring from here so I thought everything would go smoothly but now I would never recommend this business to anyone. I highly suggest looking at different places to order your rings from. I love to support local but ordering from here just caused more problems, there are other small business you can order from that are 100 times better.

  Got my rings - worth the wait

  Sad to see some of the other stories here. The owner politely asked me for a review after I received my rings so here it is.
  
  They explained to me the issues they had at the end of 2022 and most of 2023. I understand. They are a small local business. To be honest the first time I ordered they were in a tiny office they rented part time. I was happy to see them grow into a bigger office and eventually a store (where I ordered wedding bands in 2023, yes very late delivery). Overall though, they provided me with loaner bands when mine were late. This was great. My first purchase in 2019 went very smoothly and I received an amazing pear ring for my wife. All my final products are great and I’ve had no issues. I still recommend this small business and hope to see them on their feet again.

  Not honest!

  On Oct 2, 2022, I paid the full amount of $1942.50 for an engagement ring and was told that it would be 3-6 weeks. On Nov 10, I contacted the owner only to be told that it was actually going to take 16 wks, making the completion date Jan 22, 2023. On Dec 3, we went to the store to speak to someone in person. The owner was not at the store but the staff told us that they had no idea on the status of the ring, but in fact it should only take 12 wks, and the ring would arrive either just before Xmas or the wk after. Xmas came and went with no call. On Jan 19, 2023, we called the store multiple times with no answer. Once we finally got through, we were told that the ring was finished and being shipped.
  On Feb 3, the owner advised that she had been away and that the staff are not authorized to accept incoming packages. She assured me that I would have the ring the wk of Feb 6.
  On Feb 15, we called again with no response. A message was left requesting a return call and a mtg, followed by a text requesting an in person mtg on Fri the 18th. We received no response to either.
  We then booked online for an in-person mtg for Sat Feb 19. When we arrived, the owner was not present and the staff had no info on my ring. We stated that we wanted a full refund and asked for a call by the end of the day or we would be proceeding with other legal alternatives. A couple of hrs later the owner called saying that the ring was in fact completed in Dec, however, still will not tell us where the ring is or why we don't have it. She stated that there was a delay in manufacturing affecting multiple orders and that there would be a ‘credit’ for everyone involved once the rings arrived, unless I pursued other avenues ie: seeking legal action... then my name would be taken off the list for receiving a credit. There is still no ring, no indication of when it will arrive, and no idea where it is. HS has my money and my ring.
  It has now been 23 wks since I paid in full.

  They do not communicate

  I am highly suspicious of the 4 and 5 star ratings on here.
  
  Don't put yourself through the stress. They do not respond to phonecards or emails. When they do they are unprofessional
