  Calligraphy

  I used Quills for our seating chart and a couple of small signs. The work was well done and the owner was super responsive, and I was impressed with everything once we got it back. The only thing I would say to prospective brides-this is really expensive and once the wedding was over it was the one thing I regretted spending so much money on. Unless you’re crazy clever with the seating chart and signs and manage to keep them after the wedding it’s one of those things that looks neat for 30 mins and then people find their seats and forget about it. In retrospect I would have made a different seating chart that didn’t cost so much (about $250).

  For our wedding, we wanted something different from traditional calligraphy or Emily Post style invitations, because that just didn't represent our event vibe or who we are as a couple. Jenn took the time to listen to our love story and creatively interpret our vision, giving us the bold, modern and meaningful invitations that had all our friends and family members texting: "These are SO you!" as soon as they got them in the mail. Beyond that, Jenn & James were both extremely helpful and collaborative throughout the process, suggesting brilliant ideas we hadn't even thought of. They even created personalized wine labels for our guest favours that match our wedding invitations, so our entire event is branded and cohesive. I love looking at the paper goodies they created for us and finding the little thoughtful and personalized details tucked away in every fold or stroke of ink. Going with Quills instead of a traditional template is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

  I had contemplated doing my own invitations via Michael`s or using a template on my home computer. After attending a wedding show and seeing sample`s of invitations by Quills I quickly realized I couldn`t come close to the quality and selection of paper products designed by Quills. The quality of the materials used were a great value for the money. Mark was very helpful in suggesting ideas, colour combinations and fonts that would work well together. I liked that we were able to see a sample of the invitations before the final print so that we could make any changes. Many people have asked who did our wedding invitations and commented how elegant they looked although they were only a single page design. I would highly recommend Quills.
