Quills Invitations & Fine Paper is a company that is located in Hamilton, Ontario. It offers handmade invitations and stationery created for weddings and other special events. Designs are made to match the style of the couple so that guests get an early glimpse of the theme for the wedding on their invitations.
Jenn and James Lewis started Quills after designing their own wedding invitations in 2001. The business began as a moving and in-home shop until the year 2006. It was then that Jenn and James were invited to move their business into the coach house of Rock Castle, a stone mansion built in 1848 in Hamilton. Quills has an in-house calligrapher, Phyllis Macaluso.
Printed or do-it-yourself invites are available. Japanese, Tibetan, and more styles of paper are available. Envelopes to match in different size, shape, colour, and design are offered. Ribbons and other accessories can be added to invitations or envelopes. Custom invitations are designed, assembled, and printed for clients.
Various other custom wedding products can be created by Quills Invitations & Fine Paper. Save the dates, shower invites, programs, seating plans, guest books, menus, table numbers, gift tags, and thank you cards are available.

For our wedding, we wanted something different from traditional calligraphy or Emily Post style invitations, because that just didn't represent our event vibe or who we are as a couple. Jenn took the time to listen to our love story and creatively interpret our vision, giving us the bold, modern and meaningful invitations that had all our friends and family members texting: "These are SO you!" as soon as they got them in the mail. Beyond that, Jenn & James were both extremely helpful and collaborative throughout the process, suggesting brilliant ideas we hadn't even thought of. They even created personalized wine labels for our guest favours that match our wedding invitations, so our entire event is branded and cohesive. I love looking at the paper goodies they created for us and finding the little thoughtful and personalized details tucked away in every fold or stroke of ink. Going with Quills instead of a traditional template is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.Sent on 29/06/2016

I used Quills for our seating chart and a couple of small signs. The work was well done and the owner was super responsive, and I was impressed with everything once we got it back. The only thing I would say to prospective brides-this is really expensive and once the wedding was over it was the one thing I regretted spending so much money on. Unless you’re crazy clever with the seating chart and signs and manage to keep them after the wedding it’s one of those things that looks neat for 30 mins and then people find their seats and forget about it. In retrospect I would have made a different seating chart that didn’t cost so much (about $250).Sent on 23/03/2020
I had contemplated doing my own invitations via Michael`s or using a template on my home computer. After attending a wedding show and seeing sample`s of invitations by Quills I quickly realized I couldn`t come close to the quality and selection of paper products designed by Quills. The quality of the materials used were a great value for the money. Mark was very helpful in suggesting ideas, colour combinations and fonts that would work well together. I liked that we were able to see a sample of the invitations before the final print so that we could make any changes. Many people have asked who did our wedding invitations and commented how elegant they looked although they were only a single page design. I would highly recommend Quills.Sent on 20/10/2012
