hey there!
I’m Brittany Legare. I’m a Graphic Designer with big dreams living in little ol’ Amherstburg, ON.
Obsessed with: ketchup, naps, and crafting. I’ve been keepin’ it real since 1990.
Born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. I married my best friend in September 2017. I call myself a creator of all things as I like to dabble in it all. You name it I’ve probably done it some point and spent too much money on it.
I’ve done my share of travel and hope to continue feeding that love. Right now, my favourite place is Hawaii. We went there for our honeymoon, and this past May 2019 we took our entire family – both sets of parents and siblings. It’s our happy place
When I’m not working full-time, I’m running Avenue16. And when I’m not running Avenue16, you can catch me hanging out with my mom, or discovering a new local restaurant with my hubby.
Avenue16 “officially” began in 2014 without me even knowing it. It started with friends and coworkers asking me to create invitations and tickets, then logo’s, branding and promotional items. 2015 is the year I really began building my business and consider it the beginning of something real.
By 2016 I registered my company, invested in a digital press printer and tools for my home office.
It may seem like I have it all or have my life together but I’m just like you. Figuring it out one day at a time, one fail and success at a time. Countless hours have gone into me, my skills, and my business. But at the end of the day, it brings me so much joy.
The education background…
I completed the Graphic Design Advanced Diploma program in April 2013 in London, ON, at Fanshawe College. After college, I spent the summer in North Carolina before I returned home to work for a local company that previously provided me with a co-op experience and worked with for 4 years. Those years provided me with a vast background and experience in developing logos, websites, business cards, brochures, wall, floor, and window graphics. With a wealth of background knowledge, I look to move forward in the Graphic Design and Media community to provide my clients with a professional and quality experience.
