  Samantha and her beauty team were amazing! 8 people required her services so she brought a team of 5; 2 makeup, 2 hair and 1 nails right to us! They were so efficient and able to do the hair styles that were requested leaving everyone happy and looking stunning! The convenience helped make my day entirely stress free and I would recommend Samantha and her team to every bride!

  Samantha and Allison were pretty good with my trial, but unfortunately both were unable to do my wedding at the last minute (one dropped out 2 weeks before wedding (with very legitimate reason), the other was sick day of), and while the replacement that was called in to do our hair was WONDERFUL, the artist called in for the makeup was TERRIBLE.
  She was unprepared for all skin tones and had no makeup available for one of my bridesmaids. The bridesmaid had to use all of her own products and still pay full price. When I followed up on this issue, while offered many apologies, I was told that I should have warned them in advance (though it was mentioned at my trial).
  For my own makeup - I had shown pictures from my trial (and was told she received a list of products that were used) and said I wear little makeup and wanted a natural look. I had to ask for the makeup to be toned down 3 times, and it was just reapplied with little change (I was just told that that's how most people want it). Now I look back at my photos and just barely see myself, I'm upset I didn't bring my own makeup to be able to fix anything.
  All in all I would not recommend working with any replacement offered. Unfortunately this is now in my pictures forever and my bridesmaid stills feels very upset over the situation... learn from my mistake.

  It was a great experience working with Samantha and her team! I had hair, makeup, and gel nails done for myself and 4 ladies. Samantha was very responsive to email which was very helpful to me because I am from the US (We had a destination wedding). She helped me decide on a hairstyle with a good variety of pictures from similar hairstyles she has done on other women-very nice to see! I was also very pleased with my makeup experience. We were able to talk about my style in makeup and select shades that would best compliment my skin tone, hair color, dress color, last all day, and also not irritate my sensitive skin. I really appreciated the attention to detail! Everyone was very happy with their hair, nails, and makeup and we all looked beautiful even when the party lasted until 1am! I would recommend Hair Studio S to any bride! Thank you again Samantha and team!

  Samantha created an updo for me for my brothers wedding. In the chaos of planning a wedding I forgot to bring a picture to show her what I wanted. To her credit, this was not a problem for Sam as she used her own creativity to design a beautiful style that suited me and my personality and my bridesmaids dress. She took her time, did not rush at all and listened to my input about what I wanted. My hair is not easy to work with either. Knowing how curly and frizzy my hair was and with it being a humid outdoor wedding she took the extra time to apply extra frizz cream and Moroccan oil to ensure that all of my curls were sleek. She was even willing to let me come very early in the morning so that I could be ready for family pictures. My hair lasted perfectly all day and all night and even stayed in the next day so I wore it to the after party at the brides house. The day after that I removed the bobby pins and wore the loose curls down. She really did a fantastic job! I would highly recommend Samantha for all of your bridal needs! You won't be disappointed!

  Samantha has done a fabulous job with my hair and I am now a regular customer for any event/new hair style I need. About two years ago I didn't have a set hair dresser as prices have increased dramatically, especially for a girl with long thick hair. I always did my own hair for special events because no other hairdresser would listen to what I wanted- they just did whatever they happened without listening to what I liked or asked for. With Samantha she really listens to what I am asking for, with also providing me with alternatives if my exact hair style does not work out with my kind of hair. For a wedding I previously went to, she gave me a gorgeous up do with braids for $60.00 and it looked stunning! My hair was smooth, the style was clean and none of my bobby pins showed or fell out that night. My hair stayed up all night without hurting my head and I was able to move and dance around without worrying about it at all, the only problem was having to take it out at the end of the night because it still looked so beautiful. I would recommend Samantha and Hair Studio S to anyone; they are professional, caring, affordable, and I never leave that place without a smile on my face!
