My love of all things pretty and floral started from the time of picking dandelions and wildflowers from the ditches on the farm in the middle of Manitoba where I grew up... before I ever thought this venture would be possible. Since those humble beginnings, many things have changed, but I'm thankful for this journey that has led me here.
My work with flowers started in January of 2010, where I worked in a retail store, and was taught by some wonderful and talented mentors. Off and on part time and full time through university and college, I worked and learned for 3 years.
In 2012, after getting married, and moving to Selkirk MB, I left the floral industry, but it was not long before I realized how much I missed working with blooms. Soon, I was back doing weddings, starting with friends and family, and expanding from there. A wise (and much braver than me) friend told me I needed take the leap, and do what I love. It started off small, and it's a still growing work in progress, but I'm thankful for friends, family, and perhaps most important, the trust of some wonderful brides.
Bring on 2017, and life changes has led us from Manitoba to the beauty of Nova Scotia. Life here has been great, and I'm so glad we are here, flowering East Coast weddings!
