I received so many compliments on how unique and beautiful my dress was. It was such great quality and I absolutely hated having to take it off at the end of the night.

Papilio has simply stunning dresses in a range of styles. Every one I tried was unique in some way, wonderful quality and beautiful fabrics. It does take a while for a dress to arrive so I'd advise visiting them well in advance of your wedding (10-12 months at least!)

I went here yesterday, been to about 4 other boutiques prior and was ready to have to go to NYC or wherever to find that unique dress that is gorgeous, well made, classy but also with something unique and different about it. (and at a reasonable price point) I loved that you have the entire boutique to yourself during your appointment so attention is all on you. There was lots of flexibility: adding a slit during production, changing embroidery and appliques on the dress. It does take about 6 months so def plan, but otherwise I am beyond happy I was able to find my dream dress here and had the most amazing experience with my friends at this store. I highly recommend it!!!

Amazing quality, amazing customer service, amazing selection, amazing prices. Nothing but amazing. You get the entire shop to yourself to look through literally anything you want, and they treat you like royalty. Their quality is nice European (read: Not cheap, china-made) fabrics, so my dress was comfortable, flattering and forgiving. I didn’t even need to get it altered and ended up spending much less than $1000 for it.

I was so impressed with both of them as they worked with me so very diligently to create the best wedding dress in the world. It was very hard to choose because they had so many absolutely beautiful and unique gowns. Everyone at our wedding was so fascinated with my gown and profusely complimented me on my dress choice.

I am very happy with my experience at Papilio. The whole process was smooth and enjoyable since I started dress shopping in January, through choosing the gown and veil, and finally, the alteration process. They communicated clearly every step of the way. I felt they genuinely advised me on what would work best on me, and delivered a great customer experience. The lady they hire for alterations also did a great job. Kudos to Daria and Christina, whom I interacted with the most. Very professional and nice. I got so many compliments on my Toronto wedding reception dress! I also needed a second dress to celebrate my wedding abroad, and Papilio helped me find one. Excited about my second dress too!

The only thing I can say about my experience here is that they are AMAZING! We had the pleasure of having Katrina A. assist us in finding my dream dress and she was so considerate of everything I wanted. She definitely made us feel very important during our appointment. There was no pushiness and no guilt tripping for first walking out empty handed! Not only do they have some of the most beautiful and unique dresses, but we had to come back just to experience the best customer service and purchase my dream dress!!

They're very busy so I'd suggest booking a week in advance at least to get the day and time you want. Once you experience their service and see their dresses it's easy to understand why they have waiting lists for certain days. I couldn't have been happier with my experience.

Absolutely GORGEOUS dresses. This was the first dress boutique that I went to, and after visiting literally 10 other stores, I went back to get my dress as I couldn't stop thinking about it! There's no denying that their dresses are one of a kind and beautiful. The girls there are helpful. However, there were definitely things that could've been done better. Besides the first appointment which was an hour, all other subsequent appointments were only scheduled for half an hour. They're really busy and they schedule their appointments back to back. That leaves absolutely no room for you to be late as that comes out of your 30mins. This is fair, but I felt rushed even when I had the full 30mins for my fittings. There was no time for me to really look at myself or take the dress in or try it with a veil. You go, they measure and pin the changes, you get out (and they WILL let you know that you're running out of time and someone's scheduled to come RIGHT as you leave). I also had my alterations done at Papilio and I was very disappointed to discover after I brought the dress home that there were MULTIPLE areas around the waist where the seamstress did not sew the lace back into the dress. It was as if she forgot to sew it back after she took it in. My aunt had to fix it for me at home.
Overall, beautiful dresses, not enough time for the appointments and constantly feeling rushed, and sloppy alterations. However, despite this, I'd still recommend Papilio as you really can't find dresses as unique and gorgeous as these without breaking the bank.
