Ian is very friendly and easy to work with! He really wants to satisfy his clients needs. He provided itinerary samples for us to use that were really helpful and simple to use.
There were some things throughout our wedding that could have gone smoother but overall we had a fantastic time and our guests did as well .
Ian also surprisingly filmed our entire wedding with his GoPro as a trial run and offered to send us the footage which was very sweet of him to offer :)

Our wedding music was handled by Ian at the DJ and Company. Ian's professionalism and experience were apparent from our very first meeting with him. He couldn't have been more accommodating, and listened attentively to our plans for our reception. He also scheduled a second meeting, a week prior to our wedding, in order to finalize our song list and review the timeline for our event. We had confidence that Ian would do a great job, and when our wedding day arrived he lived up to all our expectations! The music he played was perfect, and he seamlessly adapted to the changing flow of the evening. A great job by a true professional! -

We used Ian as our DJ for our wedding on July 6, 2019, and I cannot recommend him and the DJ Co. enough! He was SO wonderful and accommodating for our ceremony music, allowing me to pinpoint exactly when we wanted certain songs to be played and even what exact point in the song we wanted. He provided the perfect cocktail music, and best of all, he BROUGHT the party at night!! Despite the fact that our wedding day ended up being so hot - it was definitely over 30 degrees in our venue space - everyone stayed late and danced up a storm, in large part due to his awesome DJ skills. He even got my husband to do his famous chewbacca imitation by playing Star Wars music during my father-and-law's speech. The only other wedding were I had as much fun on the dance floor was my best friend's wedding years ago, which (no coincidence) Ian also DJ'd.
HIGHLY recommend - professional, kind, and just goes above-and-beyond.

Excellent wedding DJ
Ian was amazing to work with, he offered helpful suggestions while we were planning our wedding, and really kept everyone dancing all night long. I would definitely recommend The DJ and Company!The DJ and Company's reply:

We were so lucky to have had Ian DJ our wedding! He did an amazing job keeping the energy in the room high, and his timing was great (i.e. jeopardy song during the shoe game). What stood out more was his professionalism and how he was focused on making the evening special for us. We could not have asked for a better experience.The DJ and Company's reply:

When I first reached out to Ian, he was very responsive and we were able to confirm a meeting within a week or so. He came to a restaurant near our house which we loved because it's hard for us to drive outside of Toronto after work. We discussed the basics and what type of music we wanted at our wedding. He was super easy going and gave us so many tips about our venue and things to consider. The night of our wedding was an absolute blast! People were dancing up a storm all night thanks to the amazing music Ian was playing. People didn't leave until 2am and were dancing non-stop. Thanks so much Ian for making our wedding dance party a success!!The DJ and Company's reply:
