Due to COVID-19 restrictions, my partner and I were unable to have our wedding as planned and had to reschedule for the following year. Unfortunately, we then experienced a tragedy in the family that required us to change our plans again. We had previously booked a wedding DJ for our original wedding but reached out to them to request a change in packages to accommodate our new plans.

Unfortunately, the DJ was unwilling to make any changes to their packages and refused to work with us. Despite our requests and explanations of the situation, they ultimately decided to cancel our contract and refused to refund our deposit.

We were extremely disappointed and frustrated by their lack of empathy and unwillingness to work with us during a challenging time. It was unfair for them to prioritize their interests over ours and refuse to make any compromises or adjustments. We hope that they can learn to be more accommodating to their clients in the future, especially given the unprecedented circumstances out of control for both parties

Such a great addition to our wedding. So helpful and accommodating. Took so much stress away from our special day. Great selection of music to keep people dancing all night. Was not shy to join in and make our memories even greater. Feel like She’s a part of of our family now !

Lavana and her team made our wedding day as incredible as it possibly could have been. Lavana was energetic in helping us plan our music selections, organized and thorough during our wedding day, and really impressed our family and friends during the wedding. She got people dancing on the dance floor immediately and read the room when selecting music. She also did an incredible job in bringing professional sound equipment including microphones for speeches, our ceremony, and speakers for the dance floor / ceremony.

I can’t say enough good things about Lavana at silver city events. She was truly amazing and played an integral role in making our wedding a success. Even though we had originally just rented a tent/table/chairs she really stepped up when we had issues with our venue and advocated for us. Extremely professional, regular communication, and takes curveballs in stride to quickly fix anything that goes awry. As wedding plans change and evolve she offered extremely helpful solutions and was able to offer so many different things for the wedding to rent at very reasonable prices. She communicated with our caterer and they worked together to make everything come together beautifully on our day. She had so many options for rentals and they all arrived in perfect condition. We had a great experience with Lavana as our DJ, she helped with takedown, as well as a shuttle service for our guests. She was great to work with, very prompt and willing to help. I would definitely recommend Lavana to anyone!
