Sensational Sound

I was overall very happy with Sensational Sound due to the circumstance that we were in . On the day of our wedding, the DJ that we originally booked for did not show up! Our venue called Sensational Sound to come in at the last minute (they were actually going on a fishing trip outside of the city but they turned around just to come to our wedding). They were very accommodating to what we wanted for our reception, and even played a song that they did not have on their list (that I luckily had with me) that we need for our first dance! Words can not express how grateful I am that they were able to come to our rescue and have everything run smoothly without anyone noticing.

Had a horrible wedding experience with Sensational Sound. First off, we never received any sheets to fill out in terms of preferences. Secondly, they were extremely difficult to get in contact with, and we only managed to meet them two nights before the wedding. When we finally met him, even though Carlos had guaranteed that he could play anything, he looked at my list and said he didn't have most. He said he would be able to acquire them, however, and I trusted him. Fast forward two days, so many things went wrong I don't even know where to begin. First of all, we had two separate djs for the ceremony and reception. That would have been fine, but there was little to no communication between them. Carlos had not acquired any songs, he had not provided my list to the other DJ, and the other DJ has literally no clue what was going on. A friend ended up having to go get her computer, BUY the songs and PASS them to him so he could play them. He also played the wrong song for the father daughter dance at first and had to switch it. Very unprofessional, extremely disappointing and NOT worth the fee you are expected to pre-pay prior to receiving any kind of guarantee of service. I will never be using their services again, and will recommend others avoid them as well.

We thought Sensational Sound did an excellent job with our wedding. We were able to book a combination package with them where they played at both our wedding social and wedding reception. They sent us a detailed form for both events asking for our preference on things like requests, and which music to play or not play, which they followed exactly. Carlos, the manager was able to see that everything went smoothly. They are a little laid back, and will take some time getting back to you, but everything will get done. Chad, our wedding DJ was great. He was willing to MC for us as well as helping coordinate games we had planned. He also got a good feel for the type of music we wanted to hear, the dance floor was packed all night!

Sensational Sound DJ services were very flexible. They were willing to create a fully customized music list tailored to our requests (even if they did not have them in their library; they were willing to acquire them). The Dj we had at our wedding was very good. The owner Carlos, is willing to work with your financial and entertainment requirments. They are very competitve with other DJ services in town.

The only draw back I'd like to mention is that they can be a little slow to respond at times.
