  Great DJ that knows how to read a crowd

  Terry and Michelle were responsive, professional and quick to answer my many questions. Terry knows music and even though we didn’t provide too much info on what we wanted played (although we had a big list of “do not play” songs!), Terry was good at making suggestions and keeping the flow of the night going well. He read our crowd very well and kept people dancing all night long. A great choice for your wedding DJ!

  Wedding DJ

  Terry exceded all of our expectations! He was great to communicate prior to our wedding and made the whole process very easy for us. Most importantly, he helped to create the exact atmosphere we were looking for at our wedding reception! Many thanks!!

  My husband did all the initial research and planning for our DJ but I couldn't have asked for a better experience for our wedding. Terry worked with us to coordinate the times and songs, but I really wanted to take a moment to mention his attention to the crowd. When one song wouldn't get enough people up and motivated to the dance floor he quickly and seamlessly transitioned to another song that encouraged people to get back up and have fun.
  
  One small detail I appreciated from him, both at the time and in retrospect, was his ability to accommodate an honest mistake. Arriving home from a late night with family my fiancé and I both slept in past our appointed meeting time with him but instead of giving us any hassle about missing our appointment, Terry rescheduled our meeting to another time later that day which worked well for the three of us. It might not seem like much of an issue, but I've heard from many soon-to-be and long-time married couples that with some of their vendors if they missed an appointment they would be treated with such hostility and/or charged for a missed appointment; I have to say thankfully Terry wasn't like that for us. He knew it was a mistake, we owned it, and he worked around all of our schedules like a professional. That, along with everything else that he did for us on our wedding day, definitely deserves some great recognition.

  AMAZING!! We had Terry Holdershaw as our DJ for the night and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. He played all the right music to suit everyone's tastes. Super friendly and very easy going - I basically planned our night based on his suggestions and everything went perfectly. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a DJ for an event!

  I have known Terry for a while and knew he has always been professional in his work so it was easy to hire him. On the wedding day he was there early and got everything set up with little to no help from the rest of the people rushing around trying to make sure everything looked great. He played most of the songs requested and was a great judge as to what music got the guests on the dance floor.

  Working with Scotia Entertainment was amazing! We had lots of personal connections for all the other vendors that we chose for our wedding, but nothing on the DJ front. Music can make or break a wedding, so I was nervous about this initially. Once we starting talking to Scotia Entertainment, and had our first meeting with Terry, this quickly subsided. The whole team was amazing! They listened to exactly what we wanted, and delivered 10 fold! Our day was perfect, and the music helped to achieve that, from the intimate moments in the ceremony, to the party after dinner! Everyone danced like crazy, and we had the sore legs to prove it the next day!
  Part of what we loved, was their online planning platform, so user friendly, and so strightforward! With all the stresses of planning a wedding, this makes it easy to make sure you are set on the music front, and that was so very much appreciated!

  We couldn't be happier with Scotia Entertainment. Terry is not only very professional, but he is amazing at what he does. His laid back and cool attitude will have you hooked. You cannot go wrong by hiring Terry to DJ your event.

  Terry was extremely professional from the start of the process through to the end. The interactive website was an awesome platform to provide requests and manage the flow of the reception. We had some very specific dinner & dancing music and he came through on every one. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Scotia Entertainment Services to anyone!
