Marketing and IT
Maximum Music’s resident nerd, I came on board in 2015 in a effort to help us keep up with the new world of social media and all things digital.
With a long background in technology sales and support, I bring a skill set that goes a long way to make sure Maximum Music continues to be the premier wedding DJ company in Toronto now and in the future!
A lover of nature and space, I spend my free time hiking, camping, fishing and gardening.
DJ / MC
I came on board with Maximum Music in 2011 through the introduction of a mutual friend and likes to DJ 2 or 3 times a month during wedding season.
I have always called Mississauga home graduating from Clarkson Secondary in the class of 1994. I enjoy craft beer, playing live music, riding my motorcycle and travelling whenever possible!
My DJ work is well reviewed for my friendly nature, cool competence, people skills and diverse music knowledge.
I am engaged to Ana and we are having a destination wedding in 2017.
DJ / MC
I'm from Edmonton, and have passed through Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Diego as well as a semester in Lviv, Ukraine! I love to read, write, act, and anything to do with film so working at TIFF is a perfect fit.
I started with Maximum Music in early 2014. I love nothing more than seeing a packed dance floor, and admittedly can’t help but dance behind the DJ table.
Strong people skills and an excellent MC, I love the energy of a wedding and being a part of such an important milestone for a couple. My enthusiasm, natural laugh and ability to connect with people make me a natural working at bridal shows.
DJ / MC
I got into DJ work in 2002 after being commissioned by some friends due to my reputation as a life long music junkie! I was born and raised in Montreal before moving to Toronto to study Journalism at George Brown.
I have a huge DJ resume from a 5 year residency to high end clothing stores, corporate parties and of course a lot of weddings.
My style is more laid back on the mic and I let the music do the talking. I love choosing the right songs for the moment and dropping a seamless mix and am technically a very competent DJ.
When I'm not behind the DJ table you’ll find me working on writing projects, playing drums and listening to music!
DJ / MC
As a lifelong musician, singer-songwriter and guitarist, I started DJ’ing over 10 years ago. I got my start in high school, producing a jazz and blues show on EHRP, my high school radio station. I was recruited by a fellow DJ, from the world of music when our bands happened to release new albums at the same time.
I was born and raised in Toronto, and have also lived in Providence, R.I., and Mons, Belgium.
I spend most of my spare time traveling, and digging into the Ontario craft beer scene, and was married to my wife Jacquie in June 2016! With a Maximum Music DJ of course!
DJ / MC
I grew up in the Beaches and live in Mississauga with my wife Kelly. I started off in school radio as DJ for Malvern Collegiate Institute. I progressed to school dances where I would DJ between bands including Triumph and The Police!
I love collecting, and listening to vintage vinyl in my spare time and find time in the winter to travel to the Caribbean now that the kids are grown up.
I am an excellent MC with a great voice and his music knowledge is current and outstanding! The venues love me so much that Kelly and I are guests for the summer staff party at Toronto Hunt Club.
DJ / MC
Johnny is perhaps the most interesting man in the world. DJ, artist, traveller, businessman, performer are just a few of his many expressions.
He is a chameleon that has the right music for every occasion and the perfect level of engagement to the guests. He self describes his wedding approach as quiet, reserved, soft and helpful. Johnny has a great personality and is smooth on the mic applying the less is more philosophy to keep the spotlight on the couple.
Johnny puts effort into sequencing songs and this effort shines through in his work and ultimately in his amazing book of references.
For fun Johnny can be found spinning tunes in non-traditional industrial spaces, private lofts and DIY venues where he can really let his music personality come through.
Johnny will be married in May 2017 and he understands the importance of the DJ role in a successful and memorable wedding celebration.
DJ / MC
I got into the DJ scene in 1996. Influenced by the explosion of electronic music, hip hop, and reggae. Working in the AV industry full time my technical skills are high.
I grew up in Toronto and went to university in Guelph for Sociology. I love to travel and have lived on the Gold Coast of Australia.
My enthusiasm and willingness to take on some of our more technical weddings and being a turntablist make me a huge asset.
When I'm not DJing, you will find me enjoying all sorts of comedy, building and spinning his collection of vinyl and posting Larry the Cat videos.
DJ / MC
I have a long DJ resume that includes club residencies, resorts, beach parties, and even the Sundance Film Festival in Utah in 2015!
I was born in Moscow, and speak fluent Russian. I moved to Ottawa at 13 where I lived for 15 years before moving to Toronto in 2006.
With 20 years of experience across many styles of music, it’s no wonder why everyone talks about how busy the dance floor is when I'm behind the table!
DJ / MC
I am originally from the small farming community of Binbrook, and now live in Ancaster, outside Hamilton. I have always loved music and got into DJing because of the energy it brings to an individual, a small group, and even a big crowd, and have been doing it for 20 years now!
I am always reviewed well for my skills at reading a room and knowing exactly what songs will keep the dance floor packed.
DJ / MC
I was born and raised in Toronto and have always lived here. After years of building a big record collection, I got into DJing on vinyl and digital. I have always loved music and play drums, guitar, ukelele, and even sing. My DJing began as a filler between sets with my band. I have always loved music and setting a great atmosphere for the crowd.
DJ / MC
I joined the Maximum Music DJ Service team in January of 2007 and over these 10 years have DJ’d hundreds of weddings around the Greater Toronto Area.
Couples who have worked with me always comment on my professional but fun-loving attitude and my ability to interact with the crowd in just the right way.
As a graduate of Ryerson University and the Ontario College of Art, I'm a specialist in multi-media arts, and a true professional with all things A/V!
DJ / MC
Growing up next door to Detroit on the north side of the border, I was introduced to the Techno Scene at a young age. I became engrossed with the local underground warehouse parties, which provided me with euphoric experiences through sounds, dance, and the vibrant sub-culture of peopled unified by their love of music.
Following a move to London for studies, I worked at a high-traffic nightclub as a Manager where I took a special interest in the art of DJing. After a few lessons with the club’s resident DJ, she quickly bought two Technics 1200’s complete with mixer and haven’t looked back since.
I have played in numerous clubs across Canada, the U.S, and further south in the Caribbean, filling up residencies in Toronto, London, Windsor, Grand Bend & Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. My style is unique yet versatile across many genres, including deep house, tech house, progressive, electro/bangers, & commercial with musical influences reaching beyond the bounds of electronic music, expanding to classic rock, 80’s heavy metal, and classical music.
