Experience

DJ G Swift (Garreth) is fouder and director of Cygnus Events and has over 20 years of experience as a DJ/Radio Host and Music Producer. Garreth earned his trade in his native country Ireland where he played throughout and hosted three radio shows per week playing a variety of music as well as earning his craft by battling in DJ competitions such as the DMC's in 2005. He is a well versed and professional DJ catering to a wide range of events over the past 20 years, performing in local clubs such as Fortune Sound Club, Maxx Fish, Republic, The Rox and the Bayside Lounge to name a few.

Garreth just recently in the last three years started djing for weddings,including both ceremony and reception, and all have gone exceptionaly well.

In 2018 DJ G Swift performed at over 150 gigs including a wide array of weddings. Garreth also performed at other events such as DJing on the Microsoft float at the Vancouver Pride Festival, performing to over 250,000 people. Garreth was also the DJ of choice for the Sabrina launch party & The Lost in Space Wrap party for Netflix Canada and provided music for the Arc’teryx World Sales Meetings. After moving to Vancouver, in his first year DJ G Swift was recognized in the ‘Top 5 for Urban DJs’ by the Vancouver Nightlife Awards and has since performed many successful events in and around Vancouver and Nationwide.
