  My wife & I hired Christina to help plan our wedding in Golden this past fall. We had picked a perfect place in the mountains and needed someone to help with making the day extra special. Christina was on point right from the start, helping us out with a lot of details we would have otherwise missed. She was very easy to work with, took our vague ideas of what we liked and put together a perfectly decorated day! Both Lindsey & I were extremely happy with Christina's work and would highly recommend her for any event you would like to make a statement with.

  I had never thought of hiring a designer, thinking it was a luxury only for the rich and famous. I learned that is not true, and that working with a designer can be both practical and economical. After months of scouring through wedding websites, Pinterest pages and “easy” DIY decorating ideas, my hair was falling out. We didn’t want a traditional wedding look, and the attempts we had already made were resulting in wrong and expensive choices. Finally, after an evening of desperate internet searching, I came across one of ID Bohemia’s photos. It was the only wedding photo I had seen that did not look like a typical wedding photo.
  Christina asked me to describe the feeling I was looking for – and that was a approach to design I could actually understand. She was able to take my abstract, vague, and complicated ideas and pull them together into an inspiration board that made sense. On top of her professional designer skills, she was able to calm me down, help me make decisions, make the right purchases from trusted vendors, and make wedding planning fun again. She even created a last minute floral wedding crown!
  I could not have expected the level of detail she put into the day before the wedding, and how she went over and above on the big day. Those little finishing touches on chairs and table settings, in addition to the lavish Moroccan inspired lounge in the front entrance, and incorporating elements of my heritage both for the ceremony and the reception, created a look that felt perfect. People told us it was one of the most original weddings they had ever attended! Best of all, guests told us that they really felt like they knew us as a couple after attending our wedding and I know Christina’s design and hard work were integral to that achievement.

  ID Bohemia was the obvious choice for our wedding. The theme was a Mos Eisley/Blade Runner/Shnaghai Lounge/Swing Dance/Speakeasy. I'm pretty sure any ordinary planner would have asked us to maybe pick one or two of those, but Christina and Aaron never balked at our ideas. In fact, ID Bohemia expanded our vision, and were essential to putting together a wedding we couldn't even have imagined. The whole evening was an incredible experience for us and our guests. The only people who could say they'd been to a more entertaining and unique wedding were guests who'd been to other ID Bohemia events. If you want a truly unique and memorable wedding or event that perfectly embodies what's best and most interesting about you, don't hesitate to contact Christina and Aaron.

  Our day truly could not have been everything it was without Christina and everything that is ID Bohemia. From budgeting, to sourcing, to her own arsenal of decor pieces for rent, nothing was left out or missed. Not only did we have a spectacular wedding but we made a forever friend!

  When I first contacted Christina to ask if she would be interested in decorating my wedding, I knew it was serendipity when both her and her husband were available for a personal consultation in Tokyo, Japan. Living abroad while trying to plan a wedding was initially a frightening idea, but working together with Christina and Aaron of ID Bohemia was such a special treat for me. Christina is an artist in every sense of the word: she has a unique way to approach creative challenges; she is organized and meticulous about details; she also becomes personally involved in the work she does.
  
  
  Our meetings, both in person and in Skype, with Christina were fun and professional. Although we would laugh and joke about details as she asked about our preferences, we always stayed on topic and she always corresponded back to us with updates. She shared with us her expertise and I felt I was well-informed about each item before we made a decision. From our conversations and images that we shared, she was able to extrapolate the essences of my husband and I and the different ideas she proposed to us for our wedding felt uniquely ours.
  
  
  My wedding was exactly how I had envisioned it. I wanted my guests to arrive at our venue, feeling that they had left the known world and had stepped into a fantastical version of the world Marc and I had created for ourselves. We wanted our guests to come into our wedding, like how one would enter our home: to feel the warmth of our hospitality, to taste the exoticness of our world-wide adventures, and to experience the quirkiness of our love and our love of things geeky.
  
  
  Our wedding was memorable, unique and a labour of love for everyone involved. I am more than happy and blessed to know Christina and her husband, to work with her and to share with her this stage of my life.

At that point we had not given the aesthetics of our wedding very much thought and my wife, Melissa, and I had vague, often competing, visions of what the event should look like. In initial sessions with Christina, she met with us in our home, taking pictures of our paintings, knickknacks and other aspects of our home’s interior and asking perceptive questions in order to carefully chronicle our tastes and preferences. Subsequent meetings found Christina taking us on personalized shopping trips to local design stores, sifting through our often clueless concepts and ideas, suggesting better alternatives and indicating the challenges and costs of particular design choices. On these and many future occasions, both Christina and Aaron exhibited an acute sensitivity to our aesthetic inclinations and seemed to be able to “read between the lines” of our often naïve requests and statements about what we wanted.
  
  Christina and Aaron arrived two days prior to the wedding, putting in very long hours setting up their vision for our wedding reception. They advised us where to place tables and guests, generated table layouts that included beautiful, Moroccan-inspired lanterns and floral arrangements and painstakingly created stunning wall murals out of individual pieces of coloured paper. The permanent floral arrangements that Christina created for the bridesmaids, Melissa and our families for the ceremony became the focal points of our wedding photos, blending vibrant, explosive colours and shapes with a subtlety and taste that left many guests commenting on their beauty.
  
  To say that Christina and Aaron are perfectionists in all they do is an understatement; from concept to creation, every artful detail was attended to with the most meticulous care. We found them to be accessible, unpretentious, and remarkably well-versed in a wide range of design concepts and styles and their personalized care helped to decrease our stress levels about a number of even non-design-related wedding issues. From wedding floral arrangements and table layouts to uniquely inspired design accents and wall treatments, ID Bohemia far exceeded our expectations of what we hoped to gain from involving a design company. Their aesthetic vision and insight helped give our wedding a flair that continues to resonate amongst our families and friends.
