Urban Barchef

If I could give Ottawa Barchef more than 5 stars, I would. When my husband and I were planning our wedding, we had to choose just one signature drink to serve to our guests during cocktail hour. We knew exactly who to turn to for this decision. I asked Jeff if he would make us a special cocktail for our wedding, and he graciously complied. At this point, I thought he would simply make something aesthetically pleasing and tasty – as he always does – and that would be the end of it.
To my surprise and delight, Jeff asked my husband and I if we would meet him one afternoon to be a part of the creative mixology process. Impressed by the offer, we met him one afternoon and were greeted at the bar with red roses and multiple brands and flavours of champagne and fresh exotic juices. We were so blown away by his thoughtfulness and professionalism.
The ambiance was incredible and the experience was one that I would recommend to every couple preparing for their big day! We sipped multiple concoctions of champagnes and natural fruit juices, until we agreed on the perfect look and taste. Finally, we settled on our own customized “Tickled Pink” cocktail – matching our tastes AND our colour scheme (every bride’s dream!).
Our guests raved about the cocktail, with many asking for the secret ingredients, but only Urban Barchef could replicate such a special and unique concoction that was absolutely perfect for us and our guests.

Not only were the cocktails mind blowing, the service, authenticity, and attitudes of the Urban Barchef staff were first class. We couldn't be happier about our experience with Urban Barchef. We had a big and "lively" crowd of 250 in an event space where everything needed to be brought in and Jeff and his team executed flawlessly - we needed to re-up certain items over the course of the night and our guests were constantly remarking on the quality of the drinks and the service.

We left a lot of the fine details to Jeff's discretion and we were very satisfied with how the event came together. We received nothing but compliments afterwards and had a great night - we just wished it could have lasted longer!
