Kiss the Cook made sure we had excellent food and service at our wedding reception. Everyone loved the food especially the Espresso Braised Short Rib (wasn’t able to take a photo). I personally loved the tomato soup with mini heart shaped grilled cheese and the Sea Salt Caramel Tart! We really made a great decision in having them provide our reception’s catering service. We also appreciate the adjustments they made for certain guests as well as the generous discount.

Jennifer and her Team did not only create stations that were efficient and safe for our guests the food had our guests talking for WEEKS! the Team were also incredibly sweet, patient and accommodating with all the roller-coaster twists and turns of COVID. So glad to have worked with them and will gladly do so again.

I hired Kiss the Cook for take home lunchboxes for my 23 guests to take home after my wedding ceremony that was held during the COVID 19 pandemic. I communicated with Jennifer the whole time who was extremely responsive. The food was delivered on time and I've gotten very good feedback from many of my guests who were all pleasantly surprised with how good the food tasted. I had to take a gamble and order the grilled chicken breast and it is well known that chicken is often over cooked especially when it's chicken breast and large quantities are to be served but Kiss the Cook's chicken was anything but! I had a guest mention to me she took her partner's portion from him because she just liked their food that much! Pricing is reasonable, service was excellent, communication was exceptional. Definitely would hire them again!

In the beginning, my now-husband and I were fairly certain what we were asking was going to be impossible: we wanted representation from the Polish and Nigerian heritage in our food. Food is important to us and we wanted to make sure the vegetarians got love too. Kiss the Cook took on the challenge admirably. We had jollof and pierogies and everyone loved it. They were even kind enough to accommodate an aunt who brought her own surprise desserts with an extra warming tray.

If we haven't already said it, thank you and your amazing team again and again - the whole day went seamlessly, deliciously and memorably. We have set the bar for wedding decor and food for all our pals in years to come. My guests were so impressed, the multiple cultures were represented in the food, and the biggest compliment of all - Nonna (who is the family chef and harder to please than Gordon Ramsey) went up for SECONDS! They were able to help with creative, cost saving alternatives, brainstormed solutions, were always friendly, professional and responsive. Close all the other tabs for caterers you've been researching. This is the one!

We used these guys for our very small outdoor wedding during a very trying time. They were very accommodating. Jennifer and her team were so helpful, answering all our questions in a timely manner. Most importantly, the food was excellent, the service was efficient and everyone was pleased. I completely recommend them for all future catering events.

Kiss the Cook was one of the vendors recommended by my venue. I was impressed by their selection and happy with their prices. Brett worked with us for planning our wedding. He was extremely friendly and approachable. His replies were prompt and helpful. I live outside of Ontario and did most of the planning with him by email and he was very accommodating. We set up a tasting with KtC after booking when I did make it to Toronto and my mother and I enjoyed it immensely.

My partner and I had a cocktail style reception with passed hors d’oeuvres. Our menu included samosas, fried Mac and cheese balls, a perogi station complete with mini schnitzel, and Chinese noodles in take-out boxes (among other things). We didn’t actuall a wedding cake and instead asked KtC to provide mixed mini desserts. They weren’t fancy but they were exactly what I wanted since I was over making decisionss and just wanted sweets. I loved having mini-cannolis.

The only thing that went slightly off schedule is that I think my late night table opened a little early. We were all partying by then so I’m not entirely sure but my mom told me it was a little early. Either way, the late night grilled cheese station with mini tomato soup shooters was a huge, huge success. My guests loved it.
