Experience
Simon grew up in England, beginning his career by attending Derwentside Culinary School and Newcastle Culinary School. He graduated both with honours, which jumpstarted his career as a commis chef with Mount Charlotte hotels. He quickly became the chef within a few years, during which he won local and national level competitions. He became a reputable catering manager for Trust House Forte Group and then decided to immigrate to Canada. He accomplished all this by the age of 24. He worked as a Sous Chef for the hotel chain, Westin Hotel & Resorts, in Toronto. A year later, he became a food consultant, greatly improving food standards and concentrating on healthy foods. He then became a Culinary Arts Teacher in 1992, coaching students who would go on to win medals in the beverage, restaurant, and culinary services. His qualifications match renowned chefs, such as Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsay.

At Created Not Catered we pride ourselves in attention to detail and the exemplary service we offer our clients From the very first meet we work tirelessly to ensure your day is perfect: coordernating all rental requests such as tents, tables, plates etc, we offer professional advice on all licenses and permits, as well as insurance required, staffing, food requirements, wine service, cake cutting, and consultations in person at the venue, your home, and through other forms of communication.

Cuisine
Although classically trained in the art of French cuisine as a master red seal chef Simon can also adapt to many different culltural cusines as well as accommodating dietary restrictions. They have many unique, and modern fine dining menus that can be tailored to your every need and budget requirement.

Created Not Catered can definitely accommodate all of your needs. All food is cooked fresh on site and not cooked at some central location then delivered to the event as is the case with most caterers, hence their name Created Not Catered. Not only do they specialize in outdoor tented events, but their focus is also on independent venues, such as barns, wineries historic sites, private residences, and even beaches; you name it and they have done it! They also work exclusively with many venues.
