    Owner/General Manager is RUDE

    Owner/General Manger is RUDE RUDE RUDE. She will yell at you and tell you to shut up when she doesn't like what you are saying. She will then try to gaslight you and claim you are the one yelling. She will walk away and ignore you if she doesn't want to talk to you.

    Frustrating

    Due to Covid, we were not able to have a wedding reception as they were prohibited. Apulia refused to give us our 2000 deposit back. When we tried to negotiate for the deposit to be put towards a modified event, Apulia was difficult and inflexible. We’ve talked to several other couples who have had the exact same experience as us. Stay away from this company.

    Do to Covid 19, Apulia Catering was and is still always willing to work with our customer to reschedule any wedding date once the Covid restrictions were lifted. As always, per our contract, we can still provide you with our services for a later date. This means any deposit is still valid and can be transferred to the new wedding date with the same terms of the original contract. This has always been Apulia’s policy when it comes to contracts. Please share any text or emails that show our refusal to serve your wedding. We have already provided service to other customers in the same situation and still are willing to do the same with anyone else including you.

    Do not use apulia at all costs

    And I mean all costs because she will take your money and you will get nothing back. The owner of the catering business at Apulia is a scammer and has been taking peoples deposits since the start of COVID with no intention of fulfilling her end of the contract. She has over the course of the last 8 months lied and tried gaslighting us into saying we could still have our reception any time, even through the law in Alberta has been for many months that no wedding receptions are allowed. She has not been able to fulfill her end of the contract and refuses to return the deposits. The DOW center should terminate her contract at once if they wish to remain credible, and I'm sure there are plenty of catering companies in the Fort and surrounding area with much more integrity and honesty! Shame on you Apulia Catering for taking advantage of people and collecting deposits for the past year knowing full well you would never deliver the service.

    The other review here is along the same lines, and there are many more if you do a google search for them as well as on the better business bureau. She will always comment back with a lie and tell you it's your fault and that she gets to dictate when and where you can have your wedding reception. Do not listen to her, instead listen to the many people she has taken money from throughout COVID and avoid her at all costs

    Absolutely gut wrenching experience

    Do not recommend. Please DO NOT choose her as a caterer. Very disappointed with the unprofessionalism of the owner. My wedding was set for July 2020, but the facility (Dow Center fort Sask) canceled me because of COVID. Since the facility canceled me, we were forced to postpone our date. The owner of Apulia refused to give us our $2000 deposit back, even though we were not the ones who canceled. She refused to even put that $2000 towards a different event for us. Absolutely sickening. Being a Covid bride is hard enough, but the fact that she had the audacity to rob us like that is awful. Please save yourself the heartache of being back stabbed if anything like this were to ever happen again and choose another caterer.

    We at Apulia Catering never canceled her wedding, nor refused to provide our service for her wedding. Due to Covid-19 we informed her that her deposit would still be valid for any other date she reschedules with us. Unfortunately, she then booked her wedding with another caterer at a different venue instead of rescheduling with us, and then requested to get her deposit back.

    The deposit is intended to not only protect you and securing our service, but it also protects us from losing potential income. We've already had numerous weddings and events rescheduled with the initial deposit going towards the new date.

    Our clients have been very understanding during this time and we feel its fair for both parties. Not only do they get to keep the credit for their deposit, but we can still provide our service’s to them.

    We don't feel it's fair for you to ask for the deposit when you have the opportunity to reschedule and continue to use our services with your initial deposit being credited towards the new date.

    We have always been fair and understanding to our clients, but what you’re asking is unfair to our employees, who rely on these events.

    Excellent Caterer!

    We have ordered from Apulia catering numerous times for various events, and the food & service is always top notch! You'll never go hungry at an event catered by Apulia. :)

    Amazing food, amazing staff!!

    Maria at Apulia Catering, catered our wedding as well as a brunch for our gift opening the following morning. We were very happy with the level of service we received and the food was absolutely DELICIOUS!! We were complimented by numerous guests on how good the food was and heard many people say that was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. The set up was beautiful, Maria and her staff were professional, organized and work so hard to ensure everything was perfect and Maria went above and beyond to help and ensure all of our expectations were met! I am extremely happy we had the opportunity to have Apulia cater our wedding, I have only positive things to say and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who wants an AMAZING catering company to cater their wedding or event. You will not be disappointed!!!
