  Emily is amazing. Great to work with and really makes your vision come alive. She listened to everything we had to say and took our vision beyond what even we could imagine. Delicious cake, beautifully done.

  We had the pleasure to work with Emily in early November and loved everything about the cake and cupcakes that she created for our big day. From start to finish Emily was super responsive and easy to work with and did an amazing job at putting together exactly what we wanted from just a few photos and descriptions.

  Emily is such a gem and her cakes are absolutely magic. She is patient, a good communicator and overall very easy to deal with. I recommend Emily to all you brides out there, you won't be disappointed!

She was so friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to about the vision I had for our cake. Moreover, she responded very promptly to any questions I had, which was important for me since we were planning our wedding from long distance. The cake was breathtaking! She took my idea and made a beautiful creation. Thank you so much for the most beautiful, creative, and delicious wedding cake I could have ever asked for!

  We asked Emily to make our wedding cake and cupcakes for our autumn-themed wedding in Whistler in November 2012. She personalized a delicious chocolate cake for us and created a beautiful assortment of chocolate and pumpkin cupcakes decorated with orange and red leaves. Emily's baking is so delicious, I made sure not to fill up on the main dinner so that I could eat all of her sweets. Emily was very professional--we met with her beforehand to discuss what we'd like and she was very considerate of our likes and dislikes regarding flavours and design. I have ordered cakes from Emily on three occasions since our wedding and I highly recommend When Pigs Fly Pastries. Try her pineapple-coconut cake!
