A couple of months ago Shirley made our wedding cake and it was absolutely lovely. She was always very professional from the moment we met with her to discuss the type of cake, size and flavours (and provided us with great samples to help us decide which flavours to choose! They were all delicious especially the red velvet and lemon raspberry with white chocolate which we ending up picking!)
Her services are very reasonable and many of our wedding guests complimented us on how beautiful the cake looked as well as how yummy it tasted! She put real gold leaf flecks and real flowers (champagne pink roses) on it which looked amazing.
We would definitely recommend Shirley’s Sweet Creations if you are looking for a beautiful and delicious cake for your wedding.

This review is a little late but I had to come back and do this cuz we loved our wedding cake! We had our wedding cake done with Shirley in 2017. The experience and results of the final product was phenomenal. She made sure we were completely happy with the tasting with a good number of choices to choose from. I also provided her with some ideas that I wanted for my cake, which was a gaming cross nature/forest (Zelda theme) accents with gold finish (saw on Pinterest). She put together the most beautiful cake that the guests absolutely adored! It was also very delicious with the two types that each layer was made up of.
Thank you Shirley! After 2 years, it is still one of the highlights of our wedding that we think of. Would definitely recommend!

Recommended to us by our photographer, Shirley made both our wedding cake and sugar cookie favours for our wedding reception this July. Shirley is extremely professional, flexible, approachable and easy to work with. Her work is incredibly detail oriented in her designs!

As our wedding reception happened during the pandemic, she was incredibly understanding of the situation and was willing to work with us to make sure that we had a delicious cake, despite a decrease in our guest count. When I mentioned to her that we had a customized acrylic cake topper, she made sure that our cake design would work and match with the topper.

We can't say enough good things about both the cake and the cookies, as our guests raved about the cake - it was a big hit! The cake was both beautiful to look at and delicious to eat - so moist and flavourful, with the right amount of sweetness. The cookies were also the perfect favour and matched our wedding colour scheme perfectly.

Beautiful cakes were delivered for our wedding, Shirley is a talented baker. She delivered despite challenges she had on the day of, 5 star for everything including her sense of responsibility.

Shirley was great to work with! She had some great ideas during our cake tasting, however, was able to work with the design we provided her with. The cake she made for us was an EXACT replica of what we asked for! The cake was also delicious. Shirley was extremely responsive to questions we had, delivered and set up the cake on time, and was overall very professional. The cake was excellent value as well. Highly recommend!

Shirley was very accommodating with our specific dietary restrictions and was extremely helpful in explaining which cake would be best suited for our wedding. We loved Shirley! She brought a number of yummy flavours to our cake tasting and we knew right away that she was the one for us. Our cake was exactly as I pictured it in my head, and she arrived with lots of time to set it up before the guests arrived. It looked gorgeous and tasted delicious!

Shirley was great! She met with us to answer all our questions and brought samples.

We ordered our wedding cupcakes from Shirley's Sweet Creations. She understood our vision right from the beginning. Our cupcakes were absolutely gorgeous, and tasted good too! She sent us pictures of the sugar flowers and lace overlay about 3 weeks before the wedding to get our approval. So awesome. My only complaint is that the vanilla cupcakes were a little dry, and some of the lace overlay was wrinkled. However, I've been told that I'm picky, and no one else noticed. Definitely recommend!
