Not JUST cakes, but INSANE donuts!!!

So, if Kathie does cakes… they’re likely the BEST best cakes you’ll ever have in your life. Kathie was so gracious to make donuts for our donut wall at our wedding. We wanted to go a little outside of traditional and have donuts for our wedding versus cake. Let me tell you, I dream about these donuts everyday – I am not joking. If you think Tims is good, your mind will be blown when you bite into one of her donuts. Not only did they taste unreal, but they looked stunning on our display!! You will not be disappointed with her work, it’s honestly incredible!!

Breathe Taking Cake!

Kathie has honestly outdone herself. I had a vision of what my wedding cake would look like and she made it come to life! Everyone can't stop talking about how beautiful our wedding cake was! Not to mention the taste of the cake was to die for! I would defiantly recommend Kakes By Kathie to everyone in the Okanagan Area!

Beautiful cakes!

Kathie's cakes are absolutely stunning and delicious! We had a little bit of difficulty with email communication, but once we sorted that out everything went very smoothly and we were extremely happy with the cake we got for our wedding day!

Beautifully displayed

I met kathie at a wedding expo in 2017 and I loved her personality. Very positive and easy to talk to. I wasn’t getting marrried until late 2018 so when I saw her at the next expo I had to book her. She did a fantastic job with out cake and cupcakes. My guests were very impressed. I had a special order for our food preferences and it was amazing. Thank you so much

Underwhelming in taste

2-tier Graduation cake for close to $300 was pretty and fun but disappointed in taste. While 2 distinct flavour profiles (1 for each tier) were indistinct and underwhelming, the depth of sweetness in the filling was somewhat profuse. There seemed no zest in the lemon zest cake and the requested fresh strawberries in the filling seemed somewhat overprocessed or even canned. And the caramel drizzle on the bottom cake was attractive but tasteless and a little overcooked (more like toffee). 15 guests were excited to cut into this pretty cake … and all expressed negative opinions on it’s tastes. As the host, I was quite embarassed. As the customer I feel incredibly disappointed. I don’t think I will order again. It’s a lot of money wasted with absolutely no recourse. Once an event is over the need no longer exists.

We absolutely loved our cake!! It was everything we wanted and Kathy was very easy to talk to, quick to respond. I sent her a picture and she pulled off exactly what we were wanting. Everyone is still talking about how great the cake was and how tasty it was!! Highly recommend!

We sere very happy with Kathy. She was very helpful in all aspects of capturing the vision for the cake. The cupcakes were absdolutely beautiful and delicious. This cake was the talk of many of our guests as how amazing it was and the firefighter and bride for the top was so perfect. We highly recomend Kathy. Francesca and Joanne Amante.

Kathie is amazing. Her professionalism and responsiveness was great, she was super informative and explained all her answers to our questions in detail, and she's just a great person! She gave us some great suggestions for vendors we still needed, and I don't think I've ever tasted a better cupcake! I'm excited to see the final result!!
