Unprofessional owner. I am so disappointed in this business. I had been working with the owner, planning our wedding cake for a June wedding. A few days ago I get a brief email she can’t do my cake!! She booked someone else on my weekend! I was so shocked! She informed me I wasn’t actually booked- that only happens when you are done with a tasting and have put down a deposit. This was never mentioned before! Our last communication was when I rescheduled our tasting. No heads up-totally casual, sure. Reschedule anytime and then bam!! Sorry you are screwed.
She said she gave my weekend to a more deserving bride who had to reschedule due to Covid……hello-I’ve had to reschedule due to Covid. She didn’t even respond. Now I can’t find anyone! I’ve called over 30 places- as far away as Toronto and no luck. So incredibly disappointed.Enticing Cakes Inc.'s reply:
Hi Marie
We regret that we are not able to continue in the process of booking your wedding. We did not nor would ever say the other bride was more deserving bride, one of our currently contracted brides (from summer 2020 that had their wedding postponed three times) selected the date. Prior to the day we wrote you we had not heard from her since the last postponement in 2021. We have continued to honour our contracts for all couples that had to postpone since 2020/21 without any increased cost to them. Her selecting the last spot for June 25th is not something that we could have anticipated proactively and you were contacted immediately (within minutes) that we could not continue the process of booking your wedding and recommend another local bakery in hopes to help.
We have been corresponding with you since February and of course we’re willing to reschedule the tasting for a second time due to your work schedule as the date continued remain available when we emailed the week before. We are always happy to work with our couples and are particularly understanding with the struggles couples can have booking with all the unknowns of covid. The last two years have been very challenging for all couples trying to lockdown their dates and vendors.
Our wedding bookings are like most bakeries wherein we begin with a tasting, consultation, then contract and deposit once those are completed your date is secured, this information can also be found on our website on our weddings page.

We had our wedding cake make by Enticing Cakes and it was delicious! The decoration was simple and elegant and was exactly what we asked for.
Our wedding favours were individually wrapped cookies with unique decoration on each. Also delicious and everyone loved them! Not a cookie was left behind at the end of the night!
Customer service was lacking as we felt that our business was more of a hastle to them. No response to emails and sometimes difficult to get in touch with via phone.
That said, the quality of the product will have us return to them for future baked goodies and we would recommend this business. -

It turned out exactly the way we hoped it would.
They were easy to talk to and sat down with us to help bring our idea to life.
My husband doesn't even like cake and he ate this one lol
We highly recommend them. -
