Located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, The Waegwoltic Club is a one-of-a kind venue, where weddings and events are celebrated on our storied grounds year on year. Established in 1908, this social, tennis and sailing club has hosted a wide range of significant events, including the 21st G7 Summit in 1995, and the Nova Scotia Open.
Facilities and capacity
Our facilities are surrounded by panoramic views of Halifax's North West Arm and offer both outdoor ceremony sites, an exterior stone patio and several indoor function facilities. If you are looking for beautiful green space and an ocean view, we've got it, right here in the city! You can host a lavish sit down dinner for 50-85 guests or a cocktail reception for up to 150 guests.
Services offered
The Waegwoltic team will start you off with a 'site tour' and discussion of 'possibilities' for your day. We off a variety of Wedding packages, that include menu tastings with Chef and our Food and Beverage Manager, Jen.

I have lived and worked in the event, food and beverage arena for 20+ years, and have loved every minute of it. I started my career in Toronto, and am now a resident of Halifax 15+years. I have lead teams in both private and hotel environments and arrived at "The Waeg" in 2019. I could not have been given a better palette for creating lasting, memorable wedding celebrations, than the one The Waegwoltic offers. Details are important. Along with Chef and all of the staff, we have created, and continue to create great parties. I look forward to looking after you!
