The Okanagan Golf Club is the perfect venue for your "one stop " wedding
Nestled in the hills of Kelowna, BC surrounded by lush greenery and two picturesque championship golf courses, Okanagan Golf Club is the perfect setting to say “I do.” Imagine walking down the isle to a stunning waterfront gazebo overlooking Els Lake. Then relax on their outdoor patio as you watch your guests enjoy lawn games or sample wines from one of the many award winning wineries in the local area. As you relax, Executive Chef, Prasad Chavan will create an amazing feast for both your eyes and stomach that will be sure to not disappoint. What more could you ask for in a perfect day!
Facilities and capacity
Create the wedding of your dreams in any of the Okanagan Golf Clubs amazing event spaces. For outdoor ceremonies, we offer two different outdoor ceremony options. Our waterfront site and the other surrounded by picture perfect Ponderosa Pine trees with views of our newly designd 18th hole and Els Lake.
Moving inside to the Ponderoa Room, surrounded by floor to ceiling windows overlooking the manicured golf greens on your own private patio, this space can comfortably seat groups from 20 to 170 people.
You also have the option of doing a complete buyout of our clubhouse allowing for up to 350 seated guests.

Perfect venue for our wedding!
We were blown away by everything Okanagan Golf Club had to offer for our wedding! Nicole and her team were absolutely amazing all day.
We had our entire wedding planned March 2020 right before the COVID pandemic was announced. Throughout this entire time, our communication with Nicole was top-notch. She was constantly communicating the new changes as BC's reopening plans were updating, and she was able to provide us with a baseline on how 2020 weddings ran to give us an idea of what we might expect for ours. We were extremely lucky to have a venue that could host an outdoor dance floor, and for this reason we were able to host a dance at our reception.
The venue has extra decorations that we were welcome to use - from table runners and table cloths in different colours, multiple different flower vase shapes and sizes, different tea light designs, and dessert display platters - we took advantage of it by using their burgundy table runners, the tea lights and flower vases for our center pieces.
A nice perk was that our booking includes 2 rounds of golf and carts, and that our wedding party was able to zip around on golf carts to get around and take photos throughout the golf course. Nicole even provided clubs for our guests to take advantage of the driving range during cocktail hour!
The ceremony site includes seasonal flowers and drapery, which really takes the pressure off some of the decor planning. They also have benches for rent, which we took advantage of! The buffet and dessert received high praise from all of our guests and we were extremely happy with the options available during the planning stage. While we had a 30-person wedding due to COVID, Nicole's floor planning made the space welcoming and warm. There were so many small details that Nicole provided, and these really made us feel special and taken care of. We would happily book another large event with Nicole and her team at Okanagan Golf Club!

Nicole is amazing!
The Okanagan Golf Club was the perfect choice for our wedding day. We did both our ceremony and reception at the club and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Nicole is an extreme helpful, responsive, and lovely person! She went above and beyond our expectations and helped us with even the smallest details. 12/10 recommend!

Wedding Pros & Cons
I got married at the Okanagan Golf Course on July 28th 2018. It truly was the best day of my life and everything ended up working out the day of. However leading up to the day wasn't always the best. My Husband and I live in Calgary so our communication to a lot of our vendors was either through email or phone calls. To be completely honest, the golf course in particular Adrienne the event coordinator was very very hard to get communication from. Whether it was phone calls, emails, or texts, it would take her majority of the time weeks to reply to us. As a bride to be, this can be very difficult to deal with especially when most of the questions we asked her needed to be answered within a few days so we could book other things. We eventually did complain to the general manager of the gold course and he was great about dealing with us. The day before the wedding the event coordinator was there all day helping us and letting us borrow any decorations we needed last minute which was fantastic!! Side note: Any brides to be who don't want to spend a fortune on center pieces this venue will let you borrow theirs for no cost!
Other than the hard time we had with months of tough communication everything else was fantastic about this place! The day of we had this wonderful lady named Emily helping us ALL DAY! She was amazing and the servers/bartenders for the reception were wonderful as well. The food is AMAZING! We had a lot of our older family members tell us it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. There is tons of space in the reception hall to fit everyone as well as tons of space for dancing.
As a wrap up- If you are an out of town bride and need constant communication, this venue may not be the best pick for you. If you can deal with a week or two on end of waiting for answers and want a beautiful place to get married at then I would tell you to definitely et married here :)

Beautiful venue and great staff, too many billing mistakes and very late replies.
The venue was great and food was wonderful, however, we were billed WAY too late and many issues with the invoice. Didn’t hear replies and still haven’t received our funds back after numerous attempts to contact them. Very unprofessional after the wedding.

Little bump, but would highky recommend!
After reading some of the other reviews I agree that there were some issues with communication, both before and after our wedding. Since our wedding the lead coordinator has changed and with one quick email to the new lead our issue was resolved. Other than communication everything was amazing! The food was beyond delicious and very well priced. I can't rave enough about the two ladies who ran our event, Emily and Karen. They basically set up and took down everything. Our wedding was perfect and I would absolutely recommend chosing this location for your wedding.

I don't even know where to begin. I would say as soon as we booked the venue the lack of service diminished. It would take weeks and lots of emails, voicemail's, and texts to get a response. The day of the wedding, the food we had was not the food we initially had at the food tasting and they did not even tell us they were changing it. At 9ish the venue started taking down decorations and table decor (we had the venue till 12:30) The cutting cake was thrown out, guests had to keep buying drinks because they would put one down to go dancing (more than half full) and the waitresses would take them away. I sent a email to the GM to let him know how disappointed I was and still have not had a response from him. That was over 4 weeks ago. I guess the service is bad all around at the golf course. Beautiful venue. Horrible Service. Not worth the stress.

Beautiful Golf Course Wedding Venue
Okanagan Golf Club is a very beautiful and unique wedding venue! The staff are extremely accommodating, which is not always the case for golf course venues. There are many incredible backdrops to choose from as well as at least two ceremony sites. Nicole Oaten is absolutely wonderful to work with as the wedding coordinator. She is prompt to respond and it is clear that she is passionate about her couples. We highly recommend Okanagan Golf Club as a wedding venue, and as a golf course! Incredible people, stunning venue, and amazing atmosphere!
