  The best day ever!

  We had our wedding at The Lakeview on October 27th, we had an amazing day! Everything ran so smooth, our Maitre' D was wonderful, she was there to ensure everything ran as it should, everything was on time, she was fabulous, I don't know what we would have done without her. Along the planning process, we had our Coordinator who was there every step of the way for us to ask questions, run ideas past, we dealt with Alessia & then Jenna, they were both great! I would not have changed anything, everything fell into place so nicely, we had a fantastic day & night, definitely a day we will not forget. The only complaint that we do have, as well as many of our guests was the older gentlemen bartender was not friendly, he didn't smile, barely said 2 words to anyone, didn't look you in the eyes, don't get me wrong the drinks were flowing, but friendly service would have been nice. Even as the Bride going up to the bar, he didn't smile, didn't say thank you, didn't even look at me, didn't say your welcome. They would have gotten many more tips from guests if he was more friendly. We had multiple guests say they didn't end up tipping because he was rude, which is very unfortunate. That is not something we want our guests to remember. Other then that, everything else was fantastic!

  The perfect day

  We could not have been happier with The Lakeview. Everything was absolutely perfect. The staff were friendly and attentive and helped to make our dream day perfect. Would highly recommend!

  Wedding Venue

  Had our wedding at The Lakeview this past weekend. Everything could not have been more perfect. We worked with Alessia for the majority of our planning process. Unfortunately, she did end up leaving shortly before our wedding. Jenna took over and was a pleasure to work with. Charlie was wonderful help throughout the whole process and Gonia was the most perfect Maitre' D. The whole event could not have gone more seamless, and we got so many compliments about the venue, staff and organization of the event.
  
  Could not recommend The Lakeview enough!

  Lizotte Wedding

  The hall was 27degrees, it was so brutally hot you couldn’t stand it. The food was cold & the staff was extremely rude and miserable. Especially the coordinator. Do not recommend this venue!

  Perfect wedding venue

  I cannot recommend this venue enough! I got married here on April 1, 2023 and it was the wedding of my dreams. The whole planning process with this venue was so seamless and made me a stress free bride. Alessia was so attentive during the planning process. My maître D on the day of Gonia was amazing. My wedding was perfect. The food, staff, dj and of course location was perfect. My guests were coming up to me all night to say it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to. I totally recommend.

  Josh and Kathleen

  Our daughter and son in law were married Friday 21. The guests could not say enough about how nice the venue building was. The pictures by the lake were beautiful. The staff was more like part of our family than staff. They were very organized and professional. The food was very good and plenty of it. I It was far beyond what I thought it would be. If you have a event coming up give them a call, you have nothing to lose by talking to them but you have so much to gain. Thank you to all the people that made our daughter and son in laws wedding a memory we will not forget.

  October 15th/2022 - Amazing Venue!

  The staff at Lakeview by Carmen's was top-notch. Our event coordinator - Alessia - was very helpful with all of our questions leading up to our special day. Our maitre'd -Jenna - was always making sure everything was going well and made sure we had everything that we needed. She also worked very well with our outside Day-of-Coordinator, both making sure everything ran smoothly and everything looked beautiful. The food was "out-of-this-world"! We had many guests compliment how delicious the meals were and the staff was very attentive and kind to all our needs. The location was prime and especially beautiful at night. Sitting from the head table and looking out from the balcony, the view of the lake really made our night more spectacular. Highly recommend for any couple getting married to come here and be taken care of by the incredible staff at Lakeview by Carmen!

  Worth Every Penny

  Between the all-inclusive aspect of the venue and the view, we could not pass up booking this venue.
  
  Through the venue, we were able to book our DJ, cake, decor, food, and drinks. It made wedding planning so easy! They had easy to follow deadlines and paperwork that made decision making simple and stress-free.
  
  The night of our rehearsal, we dropped off everything we wanted set up and told our maitre d exactly where we wanted it. They did a great job at setting it all up for us, making our wedding morning incredible stress-free. The DJ was fantastic and played all of our requests. We got so many compliments on the food and the decor as well!
  
  Only two small things went wrong, which with such a big event is a win in my book. A lot of staff changes happened over the pandemic, meaning that our coordinator changed quite often. We were not informed of these changes, so when I would email to ask questions, I would not receive a response. I didn't know it at the time, but it was because that person did not work there any more! That happened several times, but we ended up with Alessia as our coordinator and could not have been happier about that. The second is that the reception ended very abruptly. After the last song (which we didn't know was the last song) the music just ended and the lights immediately came on. Not a big deal, but was jarring. I would just recommend asking the coordinator or DJ to announce the last song to avoid this.
  
  Overall, we are incredibly happy with our experience.

  Wonderful Experience!

  We got married in September 2022 and had a wonderful experience having our wedding at Lakeview. We were thrilled with how everything turned out and our guests also had great things to say about the venue. Many were surprised such a nice beach could be found in Hamilton! It was wonderful having so many services included with Lakeview such as the food, cake and decor, and the team worked hard to help our vision come to life. We felt like the price we paid was great value for the quality and services received.
