Roma Hall is a wedding venue located in New Westminster, British Columbia and has been hosting couples in the Greater Vancouver area since 1929. With numerous transformations over the years, the banquet and catering hall has been recently renovated into a beautiful ballroom perfect for wedding celebrations. It can accommodate events of any size and style.

Facilities and Capacity

Roma Hall features two beautiful halls for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Large, elegant affairs of 250 guests can be hosted in the spacious Main Hall, which features fabulous lighting and a portable stage to accommodate a DJ or a live band. Your guests will be welcomed by a stunning chandelier and curved staircase in the main entryway. A bar is also available for use. The Small Hall, located upstairs, can accommodate up to 65 guests. This space is ideal for intimate affairs shared with your nearest and dearest. It features a bar, washrooms, and its own main entrance.

Services Offered

The professional staff of Roma Hall is dedicated to creating a one-of-kind wedding experience for you. You can avail of a number of services onsite, including full catering, bartending, and event rentals. Champagne glasses, a DVD player with wall screens, an easel, and a podium with a microphone are available to lease for your event. For the convenience of you and your guests, Roma Hall features a secure, free parking area.

Cuisine

Being a full-service catering and banquet facility, the hall offers a unique wedding experience for couples. The chef will work directly with brides and grooms to create a customized menu. To ensure top-quality cuisine, all dishes are prepared from fresh ingredients. Couples can choose from 10 different menu options for their event, and they are provided with additional choices for hors d'oeuvres, platters, and desserts. A midnight buffet is also available. Some of the dishes offered include signature homemade cannelloni, oven-roasted chicken legs, roasted prime rib, and chicken cordon bleu.

Location

Positioned in the heart of the Queensborough area of New Westminster, Roma Hall is close to Derwent Way and Annacis Island. Vancouver International Airport is approximately 13 minutes away from the venue. This makes the property easily accessible for your out-of-town attendees.

Roma Hall- Reception Venue

I HIGLY recommend Roma Hall. The food was out of this world delicious. I love the the hall is a blank canvas that I got to decorate to my liking and make my wedding dreams come true. The staff are amazing and I cannot recommend this venue enough.

I cannot say enough great things about Daniela and her team at Roma Hall. They went above and beyond to ensure we had the best day ever, and we couldn't be more grateful to have chosen Roma Hall to host both our ceremony and reception. And the food, omg people have been raving about the food!

Fantastic venue and catering

Our wedding was August 10, 2019. Choosing Roma Hall should be a no-brainer for future couples. A family run business and from the moment I met within Daniela and her father Ken, felt like I was chatting with family. They were easy to work with and had TONS of food options. The hall was clean and the separate bar area was amazing. Set up and take down was easy and they didn’t have a million and one rules like other places. We had multiple guests come up to us after dinner saying it was the best wedding reception meal they ever had. We have a lot of picky eaters in our families and even they had nothing but good things to say. I am still dreaming about the food. Yes it was that good.

Our wedding reception at the Roma Hall was great and went very smoothly. The team there was very engaged from our first meeting and flexible with us, really going above and beyond to accommodate our (many) requests. There was lots and lots of food and we got great reviews on it, people certainly did not leave hungry. The staff was professional and a pleasure to work with. It's a beautiful hall, newly renovated, with lots of room and potential. We were very happy with the staff and our reception, and couldn't have imagined it going any better. We've celebrated lots at the Roma Hall, and are happy to add our wedding to the list.

We have had nothing but rae reviews about the Roma Hall. The hall was so easy to work with, prompt with emails and setting up appoitments for meetings.
From the initial meeting to the event date everything was very good with the hall no issues at all.
Be sure to tell your guests to come hungry because there is alot of food!
We shared our wedding reception there as my fiancees parents did 30 years ago! Nothing but positive reviews from all our guests!

Silvana was great very quick to respond, the food was hot and fast and enjoyed by all. My only complaint is that I had approval from the hall to hang ceiling drapery and paid a lot o money to the decorator for drapery...on the day she came t decorate the hall wouldnt allow her toput it up.
