  Amazing Summer Wedding Venue!!

  We loved every second of our experience working with MHV for our wedding. Getting married in 2021 it was very hard to plan with the changing pandemic situation, but MHV was nothing but accommodating for us as we needed to change our plans multiple times to be within the public health guidelines. They answered our questions, let us tour the grounds multiple times, allowed us to rent different pieces they had on site, and they gave us the entire day before to set everything up. Its also an absolutely gorgeous venue, with such a neat historic charm. We had our ceremony by the duck pond and reception in the summer pavilion. At the time we were allowed to have 70 fully vaccinated guests at our wedding, and the summer pavillion easily accommodated for that number of people with room to spare. Also after our original caterer fell through 2 weeks before our wedding, we contacted Chef Gil at the Livery Barn (the restaurant at MHV) and asked if he could cater. He absolutely knocked it out of the park with a 5 star meal, that our guests are still talking about how good it was! Highly recommend MHV as well as their in house catering!

  Fantastic venue and service :)

  Lots of beautiful buildings to use for pictures, a variety of places to choose for ceremony and reception. The food from the restaurant on site, Livery Barn was fantastic. We received so many comments on the venue and food because it was unique and lots of people never knew about it.

  Amazing Venue & Staff!

  Stacey worked with us to create a beautiful day and was so incredibly helpful. The venue is beautiful and perfect for photos. I would highly recommend it. It’s totally worth every penny!

  Awesome venue!

  After my original venue fell through two days before my wedding I called mhv and Stacey was wonderful. She helped me out so much and was friendly and awesome to deal with. I definitely recommend this venue. It’s gorgeous and the people are great! It ended up being way better and more beautiful than my original venue.

The summer pavilion is beautiful, large floor to ceiling windows let in lots of light and can be opened right to the ceiling which was perfect for dancing inside and out. The guests so enjoyed touring the museum before and after the ceremony. The staff went over and above, answering emails, very accommodating. super friendly and fun to work with.

  Amazing venue

  All the staff were super friendly and answered all questions we had. They made sure our big day went off without any issues. The venue was gorgeous, the wedding package was very fairly priced and the grounds are gorgeous for pictures. Stacey Sawatzky made this day perfect from day one. What a great lady to work with. Thank you all.

  Was awesome....

  I cant describe how perfect it was sure the weather was hot but it did not stop us from enjoying the view and the walks. The service was great, thank you so much for letting me choose your place for my big day I am so grateful...😊

  The rental of the banquet hall is 2 days so you can set up for your event. The rental also includes the use of their tables, chairs, dishes, kitchen, and access to the grounds to take pictures.

  Roger, the main contact for bookings, was great. He helped us figure out configuration and general set up of our event. The MHV had decorated for Christmas and he had the presence of mind to inquire whether we wanted them to keep their Christmas decor up for our wedding. We took a peek and it was perfect. We had a warm winter wonderland in their beautiful building. The reception room has vaulted wood beam ceilings. The caterers had lots of room to work.
  
  This venue is so special. If you're into a historical location with great summer photography options and a whole lot of character, you've found just the place.
