  Amazing Venue!

  Shannon at the Hellenic Hall was an absolute pleasure to work with. We contacted her through Wedding Wire and she was efficient at booking us in to come see the hall! She sent us home with a large package of information that was so helpful when considering this venue! They allow so much flexibility (choice of caterer, décor, DJ, liquor) which was huge for us, plus it is an absolutely gorgeous space! Shannon was so amazing at answering our questions along the way, as well as providing recommendations throughout our planning process. We could not recommend the Calgary Hellenic Hall more for any events!

  Great venue with a great bar

  The hall was absolutely wonderful and the bar was great: having glassware lots of space and glasses was absolutely wonderful. I loved this venue because we could bring our own food and liquor, which was exactly what we were looking for in a venue!

  Not so hidden reception gem

  While many venues in Calgary give you the glitz and glamour at an unfriendly cost, Calgary Hellenic does not. Incredibly fair pricing based on venue size, full sized industrial kitchen, beautiful new flooring and abundant tables and seating. Communication was great up until we had to set up and during our reception. The woman over seeing the hall while we were setting up and during our wedding reception was under foot and rather an annoyance to our guests and family whom were helping us. For me as a bride she stuck out as someone who did not belong in the reception space as she stood along the back wall like a bouncer with her arms crossed giving a very poor body language to our guests. She did eventually find somewhere else to be, but it could have been sooner rather than later. I hope that with this feed back they communicate this and that other people will not experience this. It was in hindsight of the day minor, but something that was rather disappointing either way.

  Great Responsiveness

  We choose Hellenic Banquet Hall because the place is a hidden gem, high ceilings good decorations and lights make the place beautiful.
