Wow! What a beautiful building with such a rich history.

If your looking for a beautiful indoor venue this is the one!!!

We had such a beautiful wedding and rehearsal here. The gibson center staff was so helpful and accommodating.
We did run into some trouble when the person we signed the original contract with left. Some things that were promised or communicated to us changed and we were also given an outdated copy of the preferred vendors. Overall things worked out and everything got aligned prior to our wedding day with the help of Amanda.

We rented the whole building which is a more expensive option but it suited our needs and was well worth it! Amanda and the staff made sure everything was perfect for our big day.

So happy my husband and I got married here and can happily reccomend to new brides and grooms to be.

Some things to note before booking, there is not alot of Green space for outdoor photos, there are not alot of places to stay and transportation options are limited.

10/10 would recommend this venue for any occasion.

I held my wedding ceremony at the Gibson Centre in September and it was absolutely perfect. I worked with Sarah to build a day that suited us, and our budget. We requested some last minute changes due to COVID restrictions and Sarah and the Gibson Centre were so quick to accommodate. Sarah was so calm and reassuring throughout the entire planning phase so it was no surprise she kept things cool and calm on the day of. With the stress of planning (especially during such uncertain times) Sarah and the Gibson Centre were a breath of fresh air. I can't say thank them enough for the role they planned in our special day!

The Gibson is absolutely stunning! When I first ever saw the Gibson Centre I knew it’s where I wanted to have my wedding. It just takes my breath away on how beautiful it is. Trish, Kim and Marianne were wonderful.

We had an amazing experience with having both our ceremony and our reception at the Gibson Centre! Throughout the planning process Kim was very responsive to our questions and actually came up with a couple suggestions that saved us money. On our big day there was actually an ice storm but the staff had all walkways shoveled and salted and they had a contingency plan in place in case of a power outage (which thankfully didn't happen). Overall it is a beautiful venue with great staff; highly recommend having any event here!

If you are looking for that perfect backdrop for your wedding this is the place for you. With a rustic feel but also a blank canvas to do what you want. The team and coordinator at the venue were nothing short of amazing to work with. The quality of the decor they set up was unbelievable, don’t sleep on their decor packages they are well worth it! For the DIY bride you don’t need much this venue stands out on its own. Highly recommend, nothing but a positive experience from day one.

We used the Gibson Centre for our wedding in October. It is the most stunning building I’ve ever been in. Not to mention the staff is outstanding. Sarah, the events coordinator went above and beyond all of our expectations! She made sure everything was exactly how we had pictured it. So happy with our experience here. It is kind of a shame. This venue is probably the most beautiful place you could get married.

However, the quality of service is unpredictable.

When we first reserved our wedding date we met with one manager, she promised us the world. As we progressed towards our wedding, they hired a new manager who made a bunch of changes which effected our plans. For example, we no longer were allowed to use our liquor tickets we spent a few hundred dollars on making. The chairs we rented had to leave that night. We were supposed to have access to all floors, but that night they blocked off the basement and upper story. The liquor prices went up by $1.25. We booked the day before to get setup and they double booked it.

There are many more things, but we did not feel as if they had accommodated us, yet went against the grain the entire way causing friction. Not a good thing when trying to book a wedding...

The night of the wedding, I didn't see any staff besides the bartenders. They we miserable and not impressed to be there. When I asked the staff that I could find to help move tables to clear the dance floor I got hesitation.

Overall, this is a very nice venue. Well worth the value, just be prepared to deal with roadblocks the entire way. They welcome you with open arms saying yes to everything, then start limiting you once you sign the dotted line.

My husband and I got married at the gibson centre in June 2015. We looked at lots of different vendors but the gibson centre seemed to have it all. We did not have to rent any tables, chairs or dinning wear which was great! The gibson centre is very rusty and beautiful! When we were looking into renting the hall they were switching event mangers but Trish was very helpful and lovely.

We had the whole building to take picture in which was wonderful because there are so many good places to get pictures there. The have AC and were nice enough to turn it up as it was a hot summer day!
The Staff were very nice and helpful.
The opened the door earlier for us as my girl and I were getting ready there that morning and needed more time to get our hair and makeup done.
It was so nice not to be rushing around worried about be late when you are able to get ready in the basement in beautiful dressing rooms (Two for the groomsmen and bridesmaids)
My husband and I loved our wedding there!
