  Amazing venue!

  We got married outside the Grand Hall on the front steps, then held our cocktail style reception inside and everything was perfect! It was gorgeous, the food was amazing, and the staff (Connie, Sean & team) were super helpful and made sure everything was seamless. Highly recommend!!

  Venue review

  We had our wedding there May 18 2025 and it was perfect. The wedding coordinator was so helpful and always got back to me in a timely matter. The building is beautiful and they were so kind, helpful and answered all my questions!
  
  The food is amazing and the staff are great to everyone who attended our wedding. It was all definitely budget friendly.

  Catering for a film crew

  Our film crew hired Fort Gibraltar to cater a private function. Our group loved the spread. Quantities were plentiful, there was ample variety and selection for everyone, including folks with special diets.
  
  The venue was clean and well organized. We would come have poutine and all the fixings again, yum!

  beautiful venue

  love the olden day feel of the venue and the lights they have on the beams along with the fire place, makes you travel back in time.

  Great experience

  Connie was fantastic to work with. We both were still very happy with the location change due to the accident that had the venue shut down (we were moved to a similar venue). Would 100% recommend going through FG for any big events!

  We loved everything about this venue. The space, the food, the ambience, the service. Connie’s help was incredibly appreciated and she helped make everything about our wedding dreams come true. Thanks so much for everything. 100 stars.

  Stunning Venue!

  We just got married here Sept 2022. The venue was absolutely stunning and the staff were great to work with. Connie was very quick to answer all emails and was very kind to work woth. Everyone raved about the 4 course dinner, appetizers, desserts and poutine bar. Only thing to keep in mind is they host other events so we had to book our rehearsal a few nights before the wedding but Connie was great and trying to keep it as close to the wedding day as possible.
  
  Friends and family enjoyed the ax throwing and raved about the other lawn games and s’more bar too!

  Easy to work with

  We had our post covid wedding at Fort gibraltor and the staff and venue. We're nothing short of amazing. We can not thank them enough for going above and beyond for us on our special day. After years of dealing with so much uncertainty and unknowns. Fort Gibraltor made planning our wedding a breeze and were always quick to respond to any of our questions.

  October 2021 wedding

  We got married October 2021 at Fort Gibraltar. I would highly recommend this venue to everyone. It’s so unique and beautiful, hardly any decor is needed. The food was amazing. One of the best wedding meals I’ve ever had. Our guests came to tell us through the evening how great it was. The late night poutine bar was a huge hit!
  Connie, Fort Gibraltar’s coordinator was fantastic to work with. She always responded quickly to all my emails. She was so helpful planning with the ever-changing covid restrictions. She also stayed late into the evening on our wedding day and kept coming up to my husband and myself to make sure everything was going well and to see if we needed anything. She was readily available the entire day of the wedding to answer any questions and made sure the day ran smoothly and stayed on track. I have nothing but great things to say about Connie and Fort Gibraltar. This venue was absolutely perfect!

  We couldn’t be happier with our event. The food, venue, interactions, results were wonderful and our guests were wowed. Connie, your personal interaction is so valuable to a business like this. You made sure our needs were met, made great suggestions and came through 100 percent.
