My new husband and I had an AMAZING experience getting married at the Canadian Golf and Country Club on August 17, 2013! Gail (the venue's wedding coordinator) handled all of the elements personally and professionally and not one detail was forgotten. I was very impressed with her organization and how seamlessly everything was handled through the evening! All of the decorations and details (escort cards, placemats, cake, candles etc - we had a ton of them!) were set up exactly how I requested.Sent on 18/08/2013
The food was delicious - our meal options were prime rib or chicken in a Dijon chardonnay sauce. Dinner was served exactly on time, all of the food was hot and fresh and the guests raved about it. The reputation for great food was one of the main reasons we chose the Canadian and we were not disappointed!
The staff were very professional and catered to every request. The bartender (I believe his name was Scott) was particularly great!
I highly recommend the Canadian - we are so, so glad that we chose it for our special day. Thank you again to Gail and the team at the Canadian Golf & Country Club!

Hi Gail, Thanks so much to you and your staff for making Michelle and John's day so special. The food was amazing, as were your staff. All of your support through the planning stages was awesome. A couple of minor concerns were: 1) The noise behind the partition in the tent, when the ceremony was taking place from the golfers. This area should be kept vacant until the ceremony is complete. 2)Chairs should be set up at both venues, so if the weather is iffy.....the choice to be outside or inside is seamless. The option of guests standing should the ceremony need to be in the tent, is not acceptable. Not sure if the shortage of chairs was due to the golf tournament taking place, or just shortage of chairs. Thanks again, for an awesome day!!Sent on 21/08/2013

I was very happy with the service from Gail and The Canadian, ansd would recommend to others.Sent on 06/08/2013
She was great and quick to fix any issues I had (wrong room booked, trouble dealing with their linen people)
The venue (patio and Tori's garden) is absolutly beautiful.
Things I wasnt happy with - the bar allowing my husbands 19 year old cousin to open a tab, which left me with a $300.00 bill when his credit card bounced. Didnt realise I had to say no tabs.
At the taste testing, the quality of meat (boneless skinless chicken breast) were much better than what was served (bone-in chicken thighs, with VERY little supreme sauce - many complained that it was dry)
Also would have liked if we had been given our golf memberships, instead of having to come back another day to receive them.

We had a wonderful experience having our wedding at The Canadian Golf & Country Club. Gail was a pleasure to work with and we are very happy to have had our wedding there. We chose the outdoor venue for our ceremony but was comforted knowing that we had up to the morning of our wedding to choose to have it inside had our weather not cooperated. This option is very important and eased much stress when planning an outdoor ceremony.Sent on 19/03/2013

When people ask about our wedding experience there is no way to describe it other than perfect.Sent on 06/05/2013
We were wed in Tori's Garden at the Canadian Golf & Country Club, a venue secluded and intimate with room for all of our guests.
Our reception and dinner was on the club house patio, which provided a beautiful open setting and ample room for guests and entertainment.
The CG&CC staff were always professional and helpful during both the planning and delivery.
The steak dinner and raspberry cheesecake dessert was the best we've ever had! Hat's-off to their chef and kitchen crew.
I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to have a truly memorable day.

P.S. a Short video with clips of the venue!

My husband and I got married at the Canadian Golf & Country Club on June 23, 2012. We had our ceremony onsite in Tori's Garden and held our cocktail hour and reception upstairs in the club house.Sent on 26/10/2012
Gail and her team were phenomenal throughout the whole planning process and most importantly on our big day and for our rehearsal. My expectations were exceeded way beyond what I ever imagined.
On the day of our rehearsal Gail took the time to guide us through our ceremony and explain how every little thing would take place on our big day. On the day of, she again guided us throughout the day and even took the time to drive us around the golf course for pictures (and we were out there for a long time :) ).
The venue in itself is beautiful. We booked in the winter without ever seeing the ceremony site and were so impressed when we finally saw it. Between the gardens, the pond and being surrounded by beautiful trees, Tori's Garden is really a dream ceremony site. The reception room is also fantastic, with it's own bar and a good sized patio for guests to enjoy throughout the evening… I couldn’t have asked for anything more, it had everything that we were looking for.
The food selection was great, we served the filet mignon and Caribbean chicken as our main dinner options and both were delicious. Everything was prepared fresh and the service was very timely.
As for places to take pictures… there were countless beautiful spots throughout the ceremony site and across the golf course. You will not need to look elsewhere… everything was so beautiful.
I've already recommended the Canadian to others and will continue to do so.
Thank you for making my wedding day a dream come true :)
