This is not my first time around. I'm probably the oldest bride on this site (just turned 58). My fiancé and I will be getting married on September 24, 2017 at the Deer Creek Golf Club. It's a small wedding with only 31 in attendance. After 6 years of getting to know each other and each going through some real financial and health difficulties, we've decided that we are stronger together than we are as individuals.

2386 days agoFavours There was certainly a lot of work put into these homemade goodies. I made apple butter, apple butter with no sugar for diabetics, and tart peach & plum compote. I'm glad I didn't have to make 50 of them! Each jar has a little card on it...

2386 days agoGold Candle Holders My candle holders were bought from Varage Sale. I got 26 for $7.00. They were partially spray painted gold so I finished spraying them and added the gold glitter rim.

2386 days agoSeating Chart My colours are ivory, gold, and orange so I used this old frame that I had for the seating chart to be put on an easel at the entrance to our room. I used scrapbooking techniques to layer and added fall leaves as embellishments.
