Berkeley Events has been 0perating Toronto’s most unique event venues for over two decades. With the launch of the much-acclaimed Berkeley Church in 1999, Berkeley Events & Catering has expanded to include the Berkeley Fieldhouse, and La Maquette. Our versatile venues can accommodate a gamut of event types: corporate events, product launches, holiday parties, training sessions, and our specialty - weddings!

La Maquette

La Maquette - Berkeley Events is a wedding venue located in Toronto, Ontario. Sitting close to the Toronto Sculpture Garden, the property has the city’s transport network, accommodation options, and international transport links at its doorstep. A distinct and beautiful setting in which to exchange vows, couples can choose from a variety of spaces including a large indoor garden. Its helpful staff is excited to welcome wedding parties to the premises and strives to provide everything to-be-weds could wish for on their big day and much more.

Facilities and Capacity

La Maquette - Berkeley Events welcome to-be-weds to plan a spectacular celebration for anywhere from 120 to 250 guests. Stepping into the Solarium, attendees will gasp at the elegant beauty on show. The space invites parties to celebrate in their own secluded slice of paradise, tucked away from the bustle of the city around them. As night falls, the stars above can be seen, creating a setting full of magic and wonder. Elsewhere, there are other spaces in the restaurant that are chic, upscale, and effortlessly cosmopolitan. The venue is an Art Deco gem that incorporates gold and black materials throughout,as well as checkered marble floors. Couples can choose to organize a smaller event in a private dining room defined by warm wood accents. Outdoors, the courtyard is an ideal space in which to exchange vows surrounded by beautiful plant life.

La Maquette offers soon-to-be-married couples a huge number of different services. We pride ourselves in being a one stop shop, offering: in-house catering, staffing, security, tables, chairs, linen, bar, rentals, sound system, lighting, and use of a bridal suite, to name a few.
