The story of our wedding

Mike and I got engaged in September 2018 and had our wedding for July 6th 2019 more or less planned by February 2019.

We had both our ceremony and reception at the beautiful Pillar and Post in Niagara-on-the-lake. The venue was beautiful, the rose garden was perfect for pictures, the bridal suite and grooms room were fantastic, the food was amazing, and the whole night went off without a hitch.

We did most of the decorations ourselves and set them up with help from family on the day of the wedding.

I got my dress at Beckers Bridals and Mike got his suit at Indochino. We were both very happy with our choices.

Alana Marie Makeup did my and my bridesmaids make-up, she did a phenomenal job, worked non-stop without complaint, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

I got my hair done by Claudia Livingstone who is based in Oshawa (my regular hairdresser). She did such an amazing job creating unique looks for each of us.

The ceremony was indoors (we didn't want to deal with the heat or risk bad weather!) and we loved the set-up.

My dad built the arch and all the wood lantern centrepieces for our day. My mom made the rest of the decorations on her cricket.

And to capture our day we had Emily Suzanne Harris Photography who was so nice and did the BEST job. We love our photos so much!

We had the most magical day.
