The story of our wedding

We got engaged at the end of 2018, and anticipated to plan for a 2021 wedding. With the unexpected pandemic, planning for our wedding was even more of a challenge. Throughout our planning, we had to deal with the stress of covid, but also considering the wedding we wanted could not happen. However in May of 2021, our Provincial Government declared that by June of 2021 we would be open for summer if vaccinations increased at a certain percentage, and the anxiety slowly started to withdraw. Unfortunately, during that moment, we had lost both our venue (that we booked for 2 years) and our photographer withing the same week. So with our wedding just around the corner, we had to find a venue and a photographer that we’re available for our wedding day. That in itself was another anxiety attack.Fast forward to August 21, 2021 we had found a venue and a photographer, and we managed to have the wedding we always wanted with all of our friends and family. This included people traveling from out of town as well. It was a day that nobody thought could happen, and it was definitely the day to feel the normalcy that we craved for the first time in a year.
