    Beautiful venue, overall good experience

The venue was the perfect choice for our September 2019 wedding. We loved the look and the layout of the venue. The guests loved taking pictures with the airstream bus and the outdoor space. And the interior room used for the ceremony is a beautiful space with massive windows, not much decor was needed.

Working with our event coordinator Rachel was a dream, she made the whole process so easy. Service on the day of was excellent! Guests loved the food from hors d'oeuvres to dessert.

Our wedding however may have been a little too much fun for the bar tenders. They were extremely friendly but were drinking throughout the night. We were fine with them having a drink here or there, but one of the bar tenders got drunk to the point where she had to be kicked out. We do appreciate the rest of the staff's quick resolution! No scene was caused and you only would have known if you were at the bar or outside and saw her being walked out. Our review would have been 5 stars otherwise!

A simple, timeless and beautiful open space!

We had our wedding at Airship 37 and the venue was just amazing! I love the open concept and the venue lends itself well to any type of design you had in mind. We wanted a very simple and timeless wedding and that is what we got! We decorated with green and white flowers and warm candles. The venue set the mood for the entire day, simple, fun and full of love and warmth!

The event coordinators were very responsive and easy to work with. The day there was a venue coordinator who we hadn't previously worked with who was a bit of a personality - our day of coordinator handled her and the issues beautifully and I knew nothing of it. That would be the only thing I would suggest for improvement.

The food was amazing! We had 4 choices for guests (fish, beef, chicken and vegetarian) all the food came out warm, perfectly cooked and all the guests raved about how delicious it was! The appetizers were plentiful during cocktail hour, guests noted that they had to turn away food because there was so much which is always great when people are generally starving at that time!

The price was great for the inclusions including all basic furniture rentals (which were beautiful!), servers, bar staff, etc. For the location and the venue, the price point was great!

Beautiful space with a few service kinks

We loved having our wedding at Airship! The venue was beautiful and keeping the garage doors open gave us the indoor/outdoor vibe we were looking for. I especially love that the space is industrial but also has massive windows- I think this is a hard combination to find in Toronto. Accessibility was important to us and outside of a bit of bumpy faux grass on the patio, everything was fully accessible. Working with Alexia was easy- she was always very quick in replying gave us a lot of confidence in our wedding plan.

There were a few service and catering oriented things on the actually wedding day that were not ideal. The food arrived while our guests were already gathering for cocktails- having a bunch of cater waters running back and forth with trays of food from a van that had pulled up right to the patio made for a weird vibe. The taco station ran out of all the garnishes in under 40 minutes so many of our guests had fish or duck wrapped in tortillas with nothing else on them. Food stations were supposed to be open for 2 hours so this was pretty unacceptable. The bar also ran out of lemons and limes very quickly and didn’t adequately replenish. I also would have likely the staff to clear the tables faster than they did. The bride and groom ended up moving cruisers full of glassware off to the side because no one thought to do this when the dancing started.

Overall we are very happy with our choice in venue and our wedding was magic, but I would recommend being really on the service team about expectations on the day of your wedding.
