We had our wedding at the waterside in and it was absolutely perfect. Planning everything from start to finish was so easy and smooth. Marlene was such a pleasure to deal with and accommodated all of our requests to ensure we had a perfect day!
The staff at the waterside inn were likewise fantastic and went above and beyond in making sure our guests were happy and that the bride and groom felt special on the big day!
The pricing was very reasonable and after the event we really feel that that value of what they provided was much more than the cost.
This was the perfect wedding, our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful it was! Seriously cannot overstate how amazing it was working with Marlene and the rest of the staff at the waterside inn!The Waterside Inn's reply:

This is a A+ venue Marlene is a gem! She helped us plan the wedding beyond our dreams! From explaining the process, helping choose menus to being my right hand the day of she exceeded our expectations. The food and serving staff are top notch- Mohammad and his team helped keep the reception flowing. Our guests complimented every aspect of our wedding and are still talking about how wonderful the night was!The Waterside Inn's reply:

Do not hesitate to book The Waterside Inn for your wedding! Our daughter and son in law had the most perfect wedding on July 14th. Marlene goes above and beyond in helping ensure that everything was executed flawlessly. She is very communicative and made us feel at ease in the planning process. The ballroom is beautiful - the pictures on their website do not do it justice! They were so accommodating and flexible. A special shoutout to the staff who went above and beyond in catering to our guests - Mohammed the manager, Kristina, Nikki, our bartender and Tim the chef who gave us an incredible meal. (I am sorry there are some I am forgetting but everyone was wonderful). The location is perfect, the fact that our guests could stay over in beautiful rooms was a bonus and the best part - ours was the only wedding on site. We could not be happier with the whole experience from start to finish!The Waterside Inn's reply:

We did both ceremony and reception on this venue. We wanted a venue that has class and convenience at the same time and this venue has it all. It was close to a GO station which is great for the guests that were commuting from Hamilton and/or Toronto. The fact that it was also a hotel made it easier for guests who wanted to stay over. The food prepared was also delicious and everyone basically enjoyed it to the point where there was almost none left at the buffet table.
Marlene was an awesome coordinator as well. She was very quick with her email responses whenever we had a question. She was also very informative and made wedding planning a little easier for us.
The rooms in the hotel are all beautiful and probably one of the best hotels we've every stayed. We would totally recommend this venue to everyone.The Waterside Inn's reply:

It was great working with Marlene and the Waterside Inn staff. Everyone was accommodating and lovely. Marlene was always prompt in responding to emails regarding various matters and gave wonderful suggestions. The food we had for the cocktail reception and lunch reception was delicious. I especially appreciated how we were served some of the hors d'oeuvres during the appetizers as the staff knew that we didn't get a chance to try them during the cocktail reception. The area around the venue is lovely as it's near the water and the ballroom is classy. Wedding planning is a very stressful process but Waterside Inn and everyone there were the least stressful parts of the whole thing. Thank you all!The Waterside Inn's reply:

We had our ceremony and reception on site. Marleen the coordinator was wonderful to work with and really helped us plan the big day. The staff at the venue was also amazing, they were friendly and had everything running smoothly. The head waiter Mohamed would check in with us to make sure everything was running smoothly and the way we wanted it. Because of this I felt we did not need a day of coordinator and the venue really came through. I also loved that I was able to set up the day before as there were no events which was really nice for me to be able to do all the set up myselfThe Waterside Inn's reply:

Having our wedding reception at the Waterside Inn was the best decision we could have made. The staff was amazing, our venue coordinator was amazing, and the space was also amazing. We were also very thankful for our bridal suite.

We never felt stress about venue and catering after this place.
We heard experiences from other vendors that belong to chains of inflexibility, and the simple truth is that going with a big company, you're not the primary concern. We never had any problem getting in touch with someone who had decision making power so we never felt that we were simply being placated .
The value is good, the location on the waterfront is stunning, the halls are beautiful to the point of decorations needed being minimum, the food is of the highest quality. We had to reschedule, rebook, and deal with COVID restrictions on guests ranging from 10 person to 150+ person invite lists and we can't thank this venue and Marlene enough for always having our back.
There's no reason I wouldn't recommend this venue for your wedding.The Waterside Inn's reply:
