Beware - lack of professionalism and huge safety risk
Fast forward to the week before the wedding. I was told to come on the Monday to set up. Got there and the room wasn’t ready. Was told to come back the Thursday, the day before the wedding. It was only partially set up. Still needed to add tables, chairs, cutlery and table clothes. And then they didn’t put the head table on a riser like was in our contract and we’re rather rude when we asked them to go get one for us.
It was a rather stressful experience for me and my husband. With the lack of communication I felt uncertain how the reception night would go. And then they changed the time we were supposed to take down decorations. It was supposed to be the day after, but partially through the reception the bartender told us everything had to be out by midnight.
Oh, and to top it off, this place doesn’t have security at the hotel. Which they should have as safety is a huuuuuge risk there. There was a man walking around the lobby with a machete and the front desk did nothing as there was no one to call.
Just think again at other options to make your day stress free.
I will say the catering and bar tender services were great, but the lack of professionalism, planning and communication really took the cake. I mean it’s hard to do when the staff keep quitting.
