  Amazing wedding venue in beautiful setting for extremely reasonable cost

  I scoured the internet looking for venue options throughout Ontario and all were too expensive or lacked character. Camp Fortune is in an absolutely beautiful part of Quebec (within Gatineau Park) and is just minutes from downtown Ottawa (so easily accessible) and the building itself is exactly what I was looking for. Understated but beautiful space with lots or light, great views and architectural character. When I saw the price i couldn't believe it; So reasonable and even the food and liquor prices were quite affordable. The building is quite large and you get the whole thing when you book for an event, including outdoor areas (the best was the fire pit later in the night to chill and make smores). The food was excellent and the DJ (part of the camp fortune package) was one of the best I've ever seen at a large event... Everything surpassed my expectations. The staff were so great and accompdating, answered questions immediately and were there the day of to help with anything.. and even helped clean up our stuff afterwards. I 100% recommend using Camp Fortune for a wedding venue, especially for those who don't have an enormous budget but still want to have a medium to large wedding. I couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out for mine!

  The staff at Camp Fortune were incredibly accommodating and helpful through the entire planning process. The food they served was seriously delicious as well. I highly recommend them - we're so happy we chose Camp Fortune for our wedding.

  The event coordinators were incredibly helpful! The venue, food and linens were all included in the price, and it was about $1500 less than everywhere else we looked. We got married October 6, so the fall colours were beautiful. I was so nervous about the food, we did a buffet at my husband's request...it was AMAZING. Everyone was talking about it, people saying it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. I can't recommend Erin, Emily and everyone at Camp Fortune enough.
