Beachwood Resort, situated on the shoreline of Lower Buckhorn Lake in Lakefield, Ontario, is a classic and picturesque resort in every sense. Wedding receptions take place in the resort’s dining facility, Frederick’s, located in the Main Lodge. This is a classic room with hardwood floors and windows all around, providing a great view of the shoreline. Wedding parties of up to 120 can be accommodated. Wedding goers will also enjoy the large stone fireplace in the adjoining lounge.

Cuisine

The resort offers menu flexibility in its wedding reception dinner menus. Guests will dine on the hearty dishes of Chef Michael Henson. The cuisine is contemporary, and some of the more popular entrees are steak, chicken, ribs, duck, and catches of the day for fish lovers.

Accommodations are plentiful. The main lodge itself has 12 hotel rooms. The bounty continues as there are seven condo spaces as well with one to four bedrooms. There’s another nine cottages on offer also, some with as many as four bedrooms. Among the amenities are:
