Would you rather... have 10 no-shows, or 10 uninvited guests show up?

Would you rather have 10 of your invited guests not show up on the day of your wedding, or have 10 uninvited guests show up?

Hmm this is a hard one. I'm gonna have to go with 10 no shows, since if people showed up uninvited I'd be upset.

Uninvited guests will not be at our dinner, not everyone was invited to dinner so my mom is in charge of making sure only invited guests are there. For the dance the more the merrier.

10 no shows if we didn't have to pay for their plate or they gave money to make up for it because we wouldn't be able to seat or feed 10 uninvited guests.

10 show up! It’s just one big party anyways. And who knows, maybe they’ll make it all the better!

10 no shows. I’m not sure how we’d deal with so many unexpected guests.

10 no-shows! Just the idea of having 10 extra uninvited people is making my heart race.

Definitely 10 no shows! As long as the reason they did not show up was for non-emergency reasons, this seems like the much better option given most venues have a maximum capacity. Guess it depends on how flexible the venue is, but I wouldn't want to have to turn people away because there is no more room!

10 extra. Our venue seats more than we are inviting so we have the space. They would eat last so as not to take food from people who responded.

10 now shows at least I don't have worry about seating arrangement and I'm not paying anymore than what I initially planned for

10 extra maybe but being at almost full capacity now would mean no good if done extras came along.

This is tough! The 10 no shows would really upset me because you're paying for people who aren't going to be there. I'd rather have crashers because you can turn them away.

Both of these situations are not great, but I would rather have 10 extra guests so up. They would not have a seat, but if they are wedding crashers, they don't really deserve a seat in my opinion! I honestly would not even feel bad if they did not have dinner, because they were uninvited. The only thing I would hate if the someone who showed up was a person we specifically did not want there for serious reasons (we have a few people we know like this)

I think 10 no shows would stress me out less than ten extra people haha Of course it would depend on the people. If it were ten people from one family I'd be pretty worried something happened but a phone call could remedy that.

Ten extra people means worrying about seats and food!

Definitely 10 extra people showing up. Even though we weren't expecting them, it would mean they really want to be there. Hopefully they would come after dinner vs during haha. Although I probably had extra seats from the last minute people who didn't come to accommodate them haha!

I think they are both bad for different reasons.

10 extra people to accommodate means that I do not have enough tables and space, not really worried about food and booze. I wouldn't have enough seating for them but it would show me that they really care. If they only show up for the reception though I don't mind.

10 people not coming means that probably something bad has happened since most of our guests are very close friends and family.

If I were forced to choose I think I would say 10 extra people.
