Same! Though I believe I have insurance for a year with the company it was purchased from.

The jeweler we bought our rings from had a jewelers insurance company they recommended, so we went with that!

The insurance is really cheap and totally worth it! Especially because diamonds don't depreciate like cars Smiley winking

I’m sure! Especially if it has some kind of sentimental value to you

What if your ring costs less than $1000. Is it worth it?

As the insurance agent. YES INSURE IT Smiley smile if you have home or renters insurance. insure it under your home policy as that will be best bang for your buck. especially because most home insurance policies limit the pay out for jewellery in the event of theft/mysterious disappearance
most companies will want a receipt or an appraisal to add it. and you can talk to them about having a lower deductible (you pay a bit more in premium).

I haven't. I'm pretty sure you can insure it with your home insurance policy. That's what I will be doing once we are married and living together.

You can add it to your home policy as an endorsement.

Yes, I was thinking that as well. Did you register with or without the Paper work? What happens if you don’t have it within the 10 days as they ask?

I ensured my engagement ring/ wedding band (came as a set) through Jewelers Mutual Insurance group. My fiance insured his wedding band through our home insurance.
