We met at a bar. I didn't want to go out that night or to the bar. and my friend said we are going because she knew the bartender and we would get some free drinks. FH walked in and in my head (while tipsy I thought he's cute and taller than me...I need to talk to him). So we did. I didn't leave that bar till closing that night. We casually dated for a few months till we became official. that was almost 5 years ago.

I met my fiancé in Italy while on vacation. He was with his sister and brother in law. He’s from Australia I’m in Canada - we connected, kept in contact, kept meeting up in random countries... did long distance and 4 yrs later he moved to Canada and we’re getting married!

Same! We met online but talked for a few months before meeting in person because I was in the middle of 4th year exams. Our first date turned into a two day date because we stayed up talking the whole night and next day. The was over 6 years ago, and we've been inseparable since.

As others have said, we met at work. We both worked in the same office space, but for different companies. My first day I was brought around to meet all the different groups and was stunned by this tall handsome blonde man. I found reasons to walk by the area he sat all the time just to sneak a peek.

Two weeks later at the christmas party for the office, he struck up a conversation and ended up inviting me to a concert after. We hung out until REALLY late and I was smitten. It took him 3 months of casually dating (and me hating it) for him to realize he was ready to not be a party boy anymore.

Thats so cute! We met in high school as we were both in a play together. We had to kiss each other before we’d even had two conversations (our first and only convo was about how much we both liked Bill Murray)! We met in Grade 2. Haha. We were friends all through elementary, Junior High and hung out now and then in High School (went to different high schools) We even “dated” all of Grade 5. It’s our on going joke of who broke up with who back then. Lol. We still ran into each other after graduating, and even after having kids. It wasn’t until he was going through a divorce that we started hanging out a lot. After a few months, he told me he wanted to start dating, and the rest is history. We’ve been together 9 years now. He’s amazing. We have a beautiful relationship and a deep love for each other. We’ve been through so much together considering we’ve known eachother for almost 30 years! Crazy!

We met in college through friends and through a Christian fellowship group. We did a lot of truck drives, and it felt like we just clicked. We've been dating just over three years now and have been engaged for almost one year and getting married in less than three months.
